The "Whatever" Thread

that's adorable -- she did a good job with the costume.
the crow on a stick is a good touch.

Just thought I'd post and say hey. Last few weeks have been really busy at work and my Dad sold a summer house he had for 40 years. Two weekends of cleaning out stuff and 20+ hours of driving over two weekends. It was exhausting.

I was scheduled to return to work this morning. I reported to medical services at 6:00 where the company doctor examined me and said I could return to work. Unfortunately the lady who runs that office didn't agree and sent me back home. The reason......my return to work form from my doctor did not include the term "no restrictions" Gotta love corporate BS:confused:

woo hoo

some knives arrived in the mail today

Does that mean these HK's will go up for sale once handle are put on? One can only hope.

yes, I kind of sell them before during and after lol

two of the pocket muks are sold already because someone emailed me a while ago taking out a pair of marks with some specific materials. I have one pooka with cocobolo I'm working on which will be available after I'm finished.

That leaves 1 muka nd 1 pooka available if someone wants to ask fr a particular handle material/style/pins before I egt aroudn to making them myself.

I'm also making videos as I go...because it gets lonley down there ;)

Been really depressed the last couple of weeks. I think I'm starting to realize that it's getting closer to the time to make some changes.

There are times when change is inevitable. We may or may not like the fact that change is coming but it's best to go forward with an open mind and positive attitude.

I was surprised when my wife called me at work yesterday rather than texting. When I answered she was crying so bad I could barely understand her. She finally calmed down enough to tell me she was on her way to the hospital with our son. His pediatrician wanted blood work and x-rays. I told my supervisor I had to go and left work immediately. I stopped by our home long enough to grab a clean shirt and change vehicles. As I was pulling into the hospital she called back(for the 10th or 20th time) and told me they were done. I didn't get out of my truck only circled the parking lot and headed back home. By the time we got there the doctor had called and said it was only bronchitis. I was unbelievably relieved but I don't know how I will handle her if anything serious ever happens to our little one.

My wife gets the same way. I've been lucky enough to learn how to get her calmed down enough to talk to her then I ask her to tell me in detail what's going on, it takes a minute and quite a lot of patience but I can usually get it sorted out. Hope the little guy starts feeling better soon!

Fishiker, glad to hear it wasn't anything too bad.

John, those girls are growing up so quickly! Hayley looks just like her mom.
