The "Whatever" Thread

Looking good! I`ve been on a mission. Hayley was talking about playing with a friends remote control car, and how her and Hanna wanted one. I remembered our girls had some about 20 years ago, and since to Connie`s dismay I never throw anything away, I have been searching closets and the attic until I found them. New batteries, and now they both have cars! Been playing outside with Hayley (Hanna is still at camp) with them, and she is so happy!

The cool grandpa, a hit with the remote control cars, and all it cost was new batteries!

Handles look good kyenglish! I wouldn't mind trying some Koa someday.

Dang Pete, beautiful batch man.
You sure whipped 'em out quick too.Me thinks you're getting the hang of handling.

Maybe by the time Hanna gets back from her globe trotting Hayley will be tired of it & Hanna will have it all to herself.

Great looking work there Peter - I like the diagonal lines on the scales - very nice batch.

Your Mosaic pin came out nice!

The only thing wrong is that there are no Pocket Kings! ;P

John - I have a couple remote control cars - one is hanging on the wall in the garage.

I should put some batteries in them and see if they still run!

I had forgot how much fun they are! Figure my girls are 36, 31, and almost 31, and the cars have been sitting at least 20 years (probably longer). All it took was batteries, and they worked fine.

Very nice batch Peter! I just used Rover #1 to cut open some cables at my desk yesterday. Great little knife.

No work tomorrow (I`m way ahead of schedule anyway). We are taking Hayley to Arthur Il. for a day trip. She is an old person in a young person body, loves antique shops, and old buildings. We will also stop in Arcola and Tuscola. It`s about a 320 mile round trip.

Cool! That sounds like a great day - put a cooler with soda, water and snacks and away you go!

got the bush hog running tonight!
finally able to mow a path through the pasture out to the wild plums -- Sunday is going to be harvest day.
Grass was chest deep - except for the places where the bluestem and seresa L was taller than me on the tractor!

Damn! That bush hog must be a cuttin' son of a gun. If the grass here gets more than knee high, I have to mow it in low gear.:D

Enjoy the plums. Do you make a wine or otherwise preserve them?
