Sorry about your cat Jeff.. Really nice looking. My brother in laws cat is almost identical but no white. :)

Sorry to read about your kitty, Jeff. We lost our 2 quite a few years ago, can't bring ourselves to get another one to this day.

I have no idea how that fire picture got attached to the last post, but I guess it's appropriate with the snow we're getting today.

Aw, no! Sorry to hear about Fluffy, Wade.

Way back I tried to rehab a broken down john primble with okay success I felt:

Anyway I've been keeping myself busy between fixed blades with these folder projects lately.

Think you've all seen the Boctoe Schrade 880

This one's in wenge. It is, or was, an 8OT wladen.

This one came out all "sqwiffy" as my mom would have said. The peening of the pins int he bolsters didn't go so well (because I over drilled the holes :()and so I'll have to pull it apart and do it again and likely have to re-finish it also. Can't stand to do it just yet because I think it looks cool sideways anyway. :) it'll have to go back to the shed though.

Wish I could find a way of using the main blade with the sheepfold blade, if only to keep the tang stamps...

Been working on a Schrade 34OT as well, got it finished tonight but do. I was nerous because it was the first knife I took apart with no problems, would have been a perfectly nice EDC, I happen to like the 34OT a lot actualy. Anyway, went ahead and tried it.

I haven't a finished picture yet, it's in buckeye burl.

All in all there's nothing like trying something new to show you how little you know or capable of :p

Still fun though

Pretty non productive morning. My brother dropped by to deliver a sheath and hung around visiting for three hours. All I got done was grinding out three Toby's Knife blanks, two standard and one with a straight back (thought I would try something different)

Great shooting. Those Ruger M77's may not be as "sexy" as the old Model 70's or get the hype of the Remmy 700, but I've never been disapointed in one. I've currently got 3 in the safe and they are all keepers.

Co-worker recently tell me his son wants to trade his Browning for his Ruger 77. Same caliber and everything. Decided Dad's gun shot better than his. Gotta love a Ruger!

Love the wood covers Pete.
Someday I'll tackle a slip joint rehandling.

Better a straight back than a broke back!

Nothing like your first trip to the range with a gun and finding out it's a keeper:)
Nice group,22 cal looks like?

Sexy is as sexy does.

Gotta love a Ruger!
