Well I figured I might as well make it 2 days in a row. Just busted me ass for 25 minutes straight of just hitting a machine or lift for 10-15 reps, no rest and on to next machine or lift. Did I think 19 lifts or 12 reps average and hit every body part at least once, most twice.

Now I’m in the sauna for another 25 minutes and I’ve got time to ponder what the hell I just did.

Not going to be able to move tomorrow…

Give it a couple of weeks, without overdoing it, and you will start to notice the difference.

Omg…. lol my 54 yo body is really cussing me today.

Weighed 215 his morning. Goal is 195ish.

Got my gym bag with me and I’ll be heading back after work. Plan today is to just do some cardio. Love the stair master machine at this gym. Probably do 10 mins on it then 20 on treadmill.

May hit each body part for a very light slow set to stretch my muscles.

Then sauna time. I stretch while in the sauna as long as it isn’t crowded.

After those ten burpees Monday, I decided I was not ready to add them to my "routine" just yet. I felt them in places I've never felt them before, like my obliques. And I was also sore in my hamstrings and upper back from what I did before the burpees, i.e. my tried and true kettlebell swings. So it's back to good ol' faithful for now, until I build some work capacity back up. Then I will look to add burpees as part of my warm up, to improve my technique, timing, coordination and precision with them, At some point I will take a run at a burpee sprint, and see how close I can get to my previous personal record of fifty in two minutes. I have no idea if I can hit that again, since I am over a decade older now. But it's more about efficiency than raw physicality, so who knows.....

You are doing good, congratulations, just keep with it bit by bit, it will pay off šŸ‘
 
Also, looks like you and I were training at the same time. I finished some household stuff, then did my in town errands (i.e. postal run, and groceries), followed by:

Workout. Ten burpees are now offcially part of the warm up, and ten pull ups as well. Rest paused doubles and singles on the latter though. I'm weak at them now. But last year my right elbow didn't like them, but it seems that has been worked out.
