It's a lot of fun. We went to Scott Air Force base once for an air show there, and got to see the SR-71 Blackbird. That thing is crazy awesome.

Anybody else interested in the new String Cheese Incident album. I got to listen to most of it on Sirius tonight. I gotta say they still got it! :thumbup:

No idea who they are, but I've had Sirius for about 8 years. That's one of my favorite parts is the album previews. I can't stand terrestrial radio anymore.
 
Just looked at a roommate situation. Dude seems pretty cool and the location is good and the rent is really close to what I pay now. But I'm still kinda tempted to hold out or get my own place and look for a room mate to share that. To be honest I was kinda hoping for a female room mate. Not that I think anything would happen between us but just to help kinda keep me civilized. But quite a few chicks are uneasy about random male room mates, which I can understand. Replied to one add the day it went up and the gal didn't even respond.

I don't think I've had to listen to terrestrial radio in years. I think we've had Sirius for 6? years. It's around $10 a month and TOTALLY worth it.

SCI hasn't put out a new album in 9 or 10 years so this is LOOONG overdue.

It may be more like 6 or 7 years for me actually. I've thought about getting the app.

My boss pays for a Sirius subscription in both semis I drive. I got so used to having that, that regular radio just doesn't cut it for me anymore either. Between Sirius Nd my iPod I pretty much have whatever I want to listen to covered. I do occasionally listen the a local station that has segment that you can call in to sell stuff.

Does anyone play an instrument? I know James, and Dex con play extremely well, and Trade. I'm working on the Piano....:D Anyone else?

Yes it was an adopt a trail day, we did some work for an hour or two and then got to wheel the rest of the day for free. The lawn mower on the hood cracked me up. I think I scared a few folks since most folks had pruning shears, but I was rocking the M-18

I used to know my way around a guitar pretty well, but I'm badly out of practice. Like most things, the chops deteriorate really fast when you stop working out every day.

Never went very far at all with the piano. I really love the drums, but I'm terrible at them. I can almost keep a beat well enough for punk or basic rock'n'roll, but that's about it.

Speaking of drums, it's Bill Ward's birthday today...

Haha. The M18 would be perfect for that! I haven't been out wheelin proper since college, but last time I did go out was right before a trail cleanup weekend that I wasnt going to be able to attend. We went on and did a little clean up since there was no reason not to. The guy I was with tried to chew away a low limb with a pair of shears unsuccessfully... I urged him to move aside and lopped it off with the BK9, much to their surprise.
