Kit, bro, man, dude, comrade, buddy, pal, fellow forumite, etc...I don't want anyone to get banned from anywhere but can you really deny that what I say is not factual? Can you really say that what Kyle has done is not worthy of action? If it was me who did what he did, might you be one of those people chiming in against me here with the eventuality of me being banned? I think so. Seeing that Kyle is Admin there and not an average man in that clique, that makes him untouchable? I think not. Not in a free society it doesn't. Maybe in that micro society but not in the broader scheme of things. Still, everything I said in every post has been valid and unchallenged by the man himself. If it was anyone else of lesser status you would all be happy he was made to pay or gone! But because it is him, no one is helping out so we mouth support for Dan no one is man-ing up to the task there so it starts and probaly will end here. As well, just because you all say Kyle doesn't give a crap what happens here doesn't mean we should just shut up. What kind of logic is that? Just stay down, throw the fight. Gimme a break! As far as obsessiveness is concerned, maybe? :rolleyes: but it's for all the right reasons and it will be done when this is done. Calling me obsessed doesn't make it go away and that is the type of deflection that keeps happening here. I have posted less than some and more than others it makes me only as involved as anyone else here as well as you Kit. You are obsessed with this being "worked out for both parties involved" if that be the case ;) When you all start talking more about Kyle and less about eachother then we will have progress on this issue. A tiny step in the right direction. You want it done? then work with us. Anything else smacks of fear.

David1967, you likely signed your own death warrant over there. As much as they tout "integrity", they lurk like weasels trying to police what members say on other forums. Rub someone's puny pecker the wrong way and you get banned!

People are getting "kill list" emails and negative Rep points for speaking their minds. It's not like we are here as racists or facists, neo nazi's or anything to deserve any kill emails or neg points. We are here to help settle this matter amicabley for Dan. Does it appease our own bruised egos a bit? YES! But it doesn't take away from the fact that we are here to support Dan's rightful compensation. So why the stupid childish, tit for tat, bull crap like death threat emails? That is some serious schoolyard nonsense. We are all Men I assume. If a man had a problem he felt needed to be made physical he'd just bring it. No "you are warned, you are on my kill list" what kinda crap is that? What are you? wanna be trenchcoat mafia. Sheesh, as an adult I can say I have rarely ever seen such a lame degeneration by a group of adults from a very simple topic to what it is becoming. GROW UP! A man would find this topic suitable for discussion only. A man wouldn't need to use threats because a man would have the intellectual capacity to make his point verbally. RDT, I hope you're not refering to me, although I did call you a "pretentious *ss" which I sincerly mean, I also purposely accompanied it with a positive rep point with no threat, implied or otherwise (you're not worth the effort) AND I did sign it so if you've got a beef with me please call me out by name instead of relaying vague unidentified supposed threats.

If you "really" did get a threat, its tracable to its author and you should be taking it to a moderator.
 
believe it or not I agree with RDT , this doesn't need nor should it ever involve threats or hate email. It's a discussion forum , and while we all may have our differences , I can bet that if we were all sitting in a bar we would be drinking together and that if some whacko came in spraying bullets we would be scrambling to cover each others 6's.
 
Strictly as a point of information, in Ohio making a death threat over the Internet ("telecommunictions" under Ohio Rev. Code Sec. 2913.01) is a crime (Ohio Rev. Code Sec. 2917.21). I suspect the same is true in other states (In PA it constitutes making a "terroristic threat."). Some might wish to temper their enthusiasm.
 
BurkStar, Um no not exactly. Actually I didn't even notice you as of yet. Seriously. It's getting harder and harder to keep up with everyone here. Anyway, whether you feel I'm worth it or not makes no difference. I didn't get any email threats or anything but others have. That's why I begged for one. What you are reading as pretension in my emails is probably more blind obedience instead of man-ing up saying straight out that your Administrator is in the wrong. Do you agree he's wrong? do you? Do you realize that what he has done and admits to is sh_tty and that if it were anyone else they'd be banned in a heart beat. If you know word "pretentious" and know it's root Pretense then you would know that it means- "making unjustified claims" also "making a show" or "false show". But more literally it's "unjustified claims". Now, where are any of my claims unjustified if Kyle himself did bash Dan publicly and also admitted to willful misdirecting of the goods in question with the intention that they be confiscated and Dan not get them. Where is it not justified that Kyle had every recourse to settle this and took his sweet ass time to only do half of it? Where is it not justified that Dan is still out the cash? Where is it not justified that he said he sent it one day yet the goods weren't recieved til' some 2 months later and post marked as such? A lie pure and simple. All evidence is in Dan's favor and TOTALLY JUSTIFIED! That is what I keep pointing at. If any of you would shut up about your hang out we might as well. We'd just continue with Kyle only. However, that isn' the case because as we all know very well. The more it is brought up, the more deflection takes place and obscures the issue. Am I making a show? sure because attention needs to be brought to this. Has it already, yes but without conclusion. So please, let's keep the flaunting our lack of knowledge and our unwillingness to pick the victims side to a minimum unless you are gonna do something about it. Anything else is weak.

PS, Thank you the45guy I am glad some of us are slowly but surely getting tired of the bull and would prefer civilized conclusions.

PSS, Thomas, after 9/11 I'd bet almost everywhere in the US it's considered a form of terrorism ! good call! :D
 
BTW, I never paid attention to this type of thing before but how do I check my rep comments? I have even neg and positive points in this thread but I am just sooo psyched to see what you all think of me. It might actually stop me from posting :rolleyes: NOT! :D But really, how do I read them. When the window comes up there's nothing to click on?
 
Hate mail and death threats? Not funny at all. I don't agree with a lot of people on this thread but I hope the person who sent out these stops real quick. RDT, Keith, Oilman, faramir and all the rest, we disagree but I would definitely have your 6 if someone tried to follow through on that.

I hope whoever is trying to use back chanels for threats and cyber stalking stops which ever position you have. When it goes that far that people have gotten homicidal over $200, its gone WAY to far.

1) It isn't being discussed at all because anything approaching negative comments of BFC on the USN is not allowed.

2) I think that honor goes to Goncez (sp?) lights. The original thread was so long that it had to be locked and archived because it was messing with the server and a second thread had to be started. I'm not sure but I don't think this one is even close to that.

Guys, leave forum(s) out of this - forum didn't steal $200, Kyle did. FOrum didn't get ripped off, Dan did. I'm sure Kyle frequents certain other forums as he does bars, grocery stores, gas pumps, etc., but nobody is dragging those into this thread.
