Update Re: Kyle Eichenseer

It really doesn't matter at this point if Kyle stole the knife and money or not. It seems that at the very least he sent it to Dan in Italy with a description for Italian Customs that was intended to get the knife confiscated. That is just as bad as stealing it, in my books. Especially since Kyle was instructed to send to an address within the US.

If the knife/tools had been sent to Dan in Italy and IF the items had been siezed by the authorities for whatever reason, wouldn't Dan have been notified of said siezure?

Unless the Italian authorities can sieze property without notification, it does not seem that anything has been sent via Italy.

I'm regulary sent parcels from the U.S. and elsewhere. Regardless of any problems with the contents of the packages, the Italian Customs Service always sends a notice to the recipient once the package is received.

Mr. Eichenseer was clearly instructed to send the package to a U.S. address when he accepted the $150.00 he requested for "supplies". I surmise that he's been caught with his proverbial pants down, being that he publicly posted that the money was received, and that he sent the package out to me.

It is clearly his responsibility to make a claim on the package he allegedly sent out, being that I've had no e-mail from Kyle since May, and have received no information whatsoever regarding a routing number. Kyle is welcome to post the routing number here. His failure to do so is suspect at the very least. If he's a man of integrity and honor, he might want to do what's right. If not, he'll continue to recieve poor business PR...

I am sure that the Italian authorities would be in contact with Dan. Not sure how long it would take for them to notify him though. I had something seized by Canada Customs once and it was about six weeks afterwards that I received notification.

Good point as well keith. About a yr. and a half ago i was sent a package from Italy (of all places:-) From the factory of Frank Beltrame and it took
almost 2 months to surface....but it did surface and the Beltrames kept me comfortable throughout the entire time frame. BUT still 2 months!

I'm surprised there hasn't been a lot more of an uproar about this than there has been. It seems that some people get of a lot lighter than others when they pull unethical, dishonest BS like this.

Someboy asked a while back if you would support a dealer or knife maker that ripped people off. I guess a whole lot of people aren't willing to stand up for what's right and letting him slide.

I think it speaks volumes about his "friends", "customers" and perhaps certain other places that I won't mention by name.

This is disappointing. Kyle needs to MAN UP and address this. What happened to the *** "Code of Bushido"??

If he wasn't a member of the "in crowd" he would've been raked over the coals and BANNED by now. :(

One thing that I would be willing to bet on is that Kyle doesn't care one little bit if he gets banned from here. It also appears that he doesn't care what people on this forum think of him. That is something I can not understand. Years from now, if somebody brings up Kyle's name and asks for a recommendation, I am going to bring up this fiasco and direct the person to this thread unless I hear that he has done right by Dan.

So sad, but predictable - anyone here care to speculate why he has not been excommunicated from that other place? Other than he was/ is their network/ tech support guy? Ethics have a funny way of getting blurred when you have a conflicting interest with the guy.

Thief. Liar. Con man. Valueless little piece of sh!t.

Keith, I'm with you, anytime anyone may ask about this, point em here or simply recount the story.

Kyle, you have no one to blame but you for this. Some really good folks have gone to bat for you, and you have let them look really bad in the process.

Instead of getting banned from here, he received a custom title.

Like Keith said; he wouldn't give a rip if he was banned from here or not.

I asked the same thing. I never could get a straight answer from any of the 'heavy hitters' over there. Read back a few pages and see some of my questions. I've also asked some folks in private, and never received an answer.

I hope Kyle does right by Dan, but I'm not going to hold my breath, nor will I waste my time on individuals such as Kyle.

Maybe Kyle deserves a ... oh, forget it. The man has no self-respect. Why would he care that we don't respect him, either?

He thinks I'm hot!? ;) :D :barf: :barf: :barf:

(sorry for going off topic)

Oh, I think Kyle is cool.

I'm Kyle. A different one...
