Whoever gets one first needs to post pics here!
:)
Multiple angles would be nice.
I wish knife makers would start putting better quality, multiple angle shots of their products on their website.
95% of the knives i buy are bought via catalog/internet so good pics make or break a sale.
And i'm sure an ever increasing number of knife customers are internet/catalog only buyers.

Really the superior pics posted/taken by forumites here sell a lot of knives for the knife companies!
:D

Well said!!!!!!

When I walked away from SHOT last month one of the top knives on my "want list" was the Vantage. I was really impressed with them. Its a good looking knife with a simple, practical but stylish design. It rides well in the pocket (read deep and secure), and is pretty thin in cross section but seems comfortable to hold (testing will tell). I was very pleased to see the three price points being offered and the steel choices. Especially on a US made knife.

With that said, I was still stunned when I saw the street price yesterday for $48 for the S30V version. Under $50 for a US made S30V knife with G-10 handles is amazing.

I have an Avid coming in with the Sandvik 13c26 blade but I'll almost assuredly be getting a Pro in S30V as well.

Here are some pictures of the Avid for those of you who wanted more angles.

For those of you who are worried about the medallion and belt clip not being centered, those are no longer issues.

Excellent pics there heng em!

I notice the liner blocks the thumbhole slightly (from a lefty POV).
Not as bad as on the Wenger OH Rangers but still it does look to impede access a bit.
How much of an obstruction is it? Is left handed opening still easy?

How good is the flipper? The flip function is part of the appeal.
:D

Bucks side-on shots give the illusion that the panels might be too thick, but your pics help show that they look just right to me!

Methinks you just made a sale or 2 for buck!
:D

Left handed opening is just ok with the thumbhole. I tend to use the flipper the entire time because it's really fun and easy. Its almost assisted opening fast when you get the hang of it. So left handers can have just as much fun as the right handers.

I'm ambidextrous so the left hand access isn't that much of an issue for me, mostly i was just curious.
And you say the flipper works great so i'll probably hardly ever used the thumbhole anyway, lol.

WOW, thanks for the pics heng em. This series looks like a home run for Buck. Steel choices, flipper, low rider clip, great looks, awesome blade shape, beefy looking liner lock, and affordable pricing. Can't wait to get a couple. Will they all have the "BOS" stamp? That is too cool.

I agree. When I looked at them at SHOT I actually opened it a couple times to be sure it wasn't because I initially thought it was assisted. Its very smooth.

Ditto! Once the first one arrives, I can see a couple more headed here , that looks like a winner to me! ;) Thanks Heng em!

Is there any way we can get a release date on these knives?
I would really just like to know when I can expect to order one.
