Walking Dead Time!

IMO it was a good one but not for the season finale.
Not as suspenseful/intense or showing anything really new in the last few minutes, but still left us with so many questions left unanswered.
Can't wait for next season.

I guess I'm one of the few that really liked this episode.

I'm starting to feel like the whole show in general is not very satisfying, as in not giving into what the viewer expects to see or wants to see. in most cases, the unpredictability is great. but, MAN, I WANTED TO SEE THE GOVERNOR DEAD SO BAD

The unpredictability is great. As someone that has read the comics, this episode was a complete blindside.
I think most would agree that they really want to see the Governor dead, but I wouldn't be in such a rush to kill off such a great villain.

the governor is a great villain. I'm just not sure what he can bring to the show anymore with what he has left. he's totally gone psycho and no longer has a community of people to mislead and manipulate.

I would imagine that the governor will show up as a continual thorn in the side of our group, at least for a while.

Man looking forward to tonights episode. This should be one of the best, I hope!!!

I thought the finale was great. The whole Andrea and Milton part was sad but it just solidifies the fact that anyone close to the Governor is going to get hurt. The biggest part that was left open ended seemed to be Rick and Carl's relationship.

To be quite honest, I was relieved that the finale wasn't incredibly open ended since I'll be shipping out for the Navy this fall right around the time the next season starts.

I don't expect to see the Gov for a while. Think Merle and Morgan. Wait until we almost forget about him and then bring him back. Maybe have him run into Morgan or something.

Or have a comedy spinoff of the Gov's roadtrip with his men. Dumb and Dumber style. I would watch it.

I think the show has definitely jumped the shark. Are they really going to waste another season at the corny prison?

They have killed off two of their better actors, interesting characters both, and have left themselves with nothing more to do than to explore the psychotic behaviors of the remaining characters. To me it is just a bunch of zombie naval grazing, or more to the point, when are these lazy survivors going to get off their fat behinds and do something worthy of civilization? What would it take to install a generator, to permanently wall up and seal off the contaminated parts of the prison, to paint, to clean up, to furnish, to install an entertainment system and communications, to actually stock a pantry and eat at some point, to collect better vehicles and weapons and infrastructure, to systematically explore, inventory and map the surrounding area, to assemble a functional and well stocked infirmary, to take a bath and change clothes at least once a year?.....they seem completely inept. Go find an entrepreneur, a doctor, an electrician, a plumber, a painter; heck I would settle for a credible short order cook, or candle stick maker. What is becoming clear is that these characters are a bunch of losers; examples of dependent socialist wellfare cases who will invest 99% of their time on moaning and complaining, while doing nothing to pick themselves up. This show has the potential to become something interesting, but the writers are content to regurgitate the same old tired dribble.

As for the 4th season....I no longer care. The characters are dull, the set is stale, the plot device is stagnant, and the story is honestly dead.

Also, did anyone watch Talking Dead afterwards? There was a caller that they cut off because he started reciting some apocalyptic prophecy. Just wondering if anyone can recall exactly what he said.

I'm not really down for watching an episode highlighting mapping or candle making. Just sayin'.

We just got a bunch of new characters. The set hasn't been explored nearly as it should have been.

I'm looking forward to them trying to build a civilization.

I like that it is such a departure from the comic books that anything can happen. Looking forward to what comes.

Was really sorry to see Milton go.

the walking dead is the show everyone wants to love. Thats why it is so popular and frustrating at the same time. The first season was the best cause it was a pilot, so they kept it fast paced. Now that they have contracts, they are trying to make it last as long as possible by using a slow story line but countered with cliffhangers in order to keep you coming back even though 45min of every episode is less then satisfactory.....IMHO

He said. Hi thanks for taking my call. This is Bob from Chattanooga. The hour is coming . The hour is coming. All that are in the grave shall hear his voice. There seems to be no room for all this mockery.

Not sure if that's word for word but that's what I caught.

Do you think they would need to spend an entire episode on either to convey the point? If I were in such an environment I would have organized armored wine and cheese safaris for well-to-do zombie hunting sportsmen (and yes that includes lady hunters too).

The concept has worked in the past. We would take them on a tour of badly infested area to give everyone a chance to rack up a high score. Which is to say, where is the creativity here? How about at least throwing in a zombie with sandwich board that reads "The end is here/Repent Now!". Oh...and I wouldn't mine seeing a zombie hord of hooters girls either, or how about zombie picket line of Screen Writers Guild union members (would that be redundant)?

That is about what I heard. Got to love those nut jobs from TN.

Thanks. I was browsing Bladeforums at the time and didn't catch all of it. I was fairly amused though.

Can't see a post made about this but at 6.52 a wireframe sketch of the Team Gemini is made for the stabbing of the late Merle:

That was a real emotional moment. One could only imagine the pain Darryl had to go through.
