27 days unless it sells out. not sure how many they are making. anyone know?Almost 600 units sold of the Falcon. Still on the fence as too joining this. The drop has 27 days left to join.
My guess would be as many as are ordered. Only protos were made as far as i know and the knife wont be available for a few months. Im wagering they have enough orders to get it off the ground and would continue until all orders are filled.27 days unless it sells out. not sure how many they are making. anyone know?
Im totally satisfied with answer. Imho given how there is no evidence of cnc work even though it is in fact cnc'd only shows the amazing capabilities of their manufacturing. Thanks for doing the digging!I have asked for confirmation. Here is a piece of the conversation:
And then a question about the WE702 which was asked on a USA forum. Is it completely milled out of one peace of titanium or is it casted and then after casting had further crafting? Because some folks could not find milling marks on some area's where normally these appear when milled out of one piece.。 Hi Henk,For this question. The 702 intergal handle is made by one piece Ti.It's made by CNC milling instead of casted. We EDM a very thick Ti firstly, and then put it on the CNC milling machines for milling.
Hope this will help and take away the doubts.
Both flip very well, but the WE with it's ceramic bearings is a bit smoother IMO.

Welcome aboard the WE Train, Ram! I really appreciate your impressions and observations. I have a feeling this may not be your last WE.Yesterday I received my first WE knife which is a WE 705D with bronze anodized titanium and a sheepsfoot M390 blade for $249.
This is an excellent flipper and even with a 3.6" blade it's slim, narrow, thin and light (4.2 ounces). It flips great and opens assuredly. The only way I can make the flipper not deploy fully is to have the blade open straight up where gravity counters the most and just ever so gently push the flipper button. I can even open it one-handed without the flipper by pinching the blade groove with my thumb and index finger.
Blade shape is very useful for most EDC tasks that many encounter. Blade is sharp, centered and no play in any direction. Choil on blade allows for detail work. Some nice jimping on the blade spine.
Very nice milling on the titanium with good texture which along with the handle choil gives a solid grip.
Titanium clip works well.
Solid lock up and no lock stick. It has a steel lock bar insert.
You get a lot of high-quality build and materials for the money.
Only small nitpick are the proprietary screws (even though they provide you with the tool) but the star screws do look cool.

Is it just me...... or would their budget line be even more awesome if they offered a stainless steel option? I'm loving the overall fit and finish on my 703 and the action is awesome but I feel I have to watch the D2 a bit more than I would say s30v or another stainless steel. Several knives on their budget line interest me, but I don't think I'll buy another with d2. Am I over thinking it?
Almost 600 units sold of the Falcon. Still on the fence as too joining this. The drop has 27 days left to join.
In a video interview (3:39 time mark) WE mentioned more budget folders with VG-10 and G-10.
I love the design but not the length unfortunately. The same knife 3.5" and larger handle and I would have already purchased one. Amazing knife for the price it's just a tad small for me.I'm in on the Falcon. My first Ferrum Forge, WE, Massdrop. Size wise, it'll be like a svelte 0900 with a finger choil. I like the 0900 a lot, so I don't want to miss out on this. Pushing 800 units now.
The FF website makes it sound like there might be more colabs with WE in the works.
No VG-10 Please. I hope they stick to D2. That said, of the new Titanium framelock 700 series offerings, I think I like the 702. I find the single piece titanium handle appealing
Eighteen WE knives under the bridge, I guess I can consider myself hooked. I wasn't able to decide on the natural titanium grey or the black anodized model 702 integral, so I took my own advice and got both.Im totally satisfied with answer. Imho given how there is no evidence of cnc work even though it is in fact cnc'd only shows the amazing capabilities of their manufacturing. Thanks for doing the digging!
LOL....at this point, 11 to go to catch upEighteen WE knives under the bridge, I guess I can consider myself hooked.
And what about the model with Damasteel the owner announcedIn a video interview (3:39 time mark) WE mentioned more budget folders with VG-10 and G-10.
