It's a hard shelled clam. They sell them in three sizes littleneck's, cherry stones and bulls. Then we have Steamers soft shell clams that we use in the New Style Clambakes and Clamboils.
Now do you want to know the deference between a bake and a boil????? HEHEHEHEHE!!!
Clambakes are better. I do mine in a big old cast iron sink with seaweed and beer over a wood fire.![]()
