I am unable to upload photos. I’m using an IPhone and I have never had trouble before except for a photo being too big to load now and then.

Well, I can only say that any notifications for followed threads before the upgrade are still wonky according to what I've gathered here and my experience. I don't use email alerts but it seems that the site alerts (the bell icon) is working for the more recent follows. I say just check your spam/junk email folders to be sure and ensure you don't have the odd email filter set that may be affecting delivery. Other than that, give it a few days and see if it changes.

Just seeing if I can attach a file.

And I can't either.

My phone photos are about 4000x3000 as taken. I typically resize them in the phone to 2000x1500 and post them no problem. Now, as others have alluded, they do not post at all. I've resized them down to 100x134 in several steps.

What's weird is that at a few of the intermediate resizing/posting steps, it would randomly report the image was too large. When it didn't do that, it would appear like it was uploading properly - a blue bar would increment to 100% - but the image never appeared (just a black/blank box did) and the image never appeared once I published the post.

Also, the option to thumbnail or publish inline is completely gone.


Again, this is using the mobile site. Platinum member. Never had an issue before. Just a simple resize to 2000x1500 was all I ever needed.

The buyer and I "figured out" that if we scrolled back thru the sub-forum to "find" the original deal thread and posted feedback for each other from there, it would work IF we allowed the pop up to autofill the thread (not fill it in w/a broken link) and then complete the feedback form.

A bit complicated and most people wouldn't bother. So, I hope this "problem" gets "fixed" or just goes away.
 
Just had to "confirm" if I wanted to Like a post...not a big deal, but wasn't expecting that to still be a thing after the update.
 
Maybe it's been said, I haven't kept up that well, but I'm guessing a lot of old posts will have their old emojis back, which for years had simply shown as whatever text code was used to call upon them. Assuming those codes are the same for the new list of emojis.

But everything looks good as far as the current revision of the OP. Sounds like the site will truly be the best technical version of itself that has yet been, at least in short the time I've known it.

Perhaps anyone could help me solve a problem.
I can not log into my old account since the site back again, it keeps asking for verification code from phone apps which I never have.
I have tried it for 3 days with no success, is there something I could do to turn off the verification code requirement?

You probably have, but don’t forget to check the spam folder. When I had to reset my password that’s where the BF email went.

Not there either. In fact, all emails from BladeForums have stopped to include watched threads like knife sales.

Having the same issue, download shows 100% but the image never appears.

Spark, I am not receiving my watched forum emails as I used to. Then this am I received emails with threads that I reponded to last friday on the BF forum. Thanks

Can't seem to upload pictures any longer, any help or point to a thread to upload from PC or iphone would be welcome, thanks. Mods may delete the 'empty' post I made in custom and handmade knives thread in the meantime.

Ditto this. Can’t upload photos, either by attaching files or by the popup box.

Also, blue type on the black background is difficult to read. Not impossible, as on the old site, but still requiring me to squint and hold my mouth just rigt. White or yellow, please.
 
I can upload pictures from Imgur but they often need me to click on "refresh" to appear. The "drag and drop" function worked once ! Only once. Not a big issue but I'm concerned with the image showing up in half format with a wide Imgur banner at the bottom.
