Thanks Gary. Yeah it was a great day. Had several different people say it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Kinda a funny story. This is my son Logan, my nephew Mattie and my other son Josh:Congrats to the happy couple and you guys look pretty happy too !!!

Congrats!
And great photos!!!
Congratulations! Looks like yall had a good time.
Built this as a proto for a Busse TGULB.
Tried my hand at some vintage gel over russet leather. Also learning I’m not a fan of black stitching lol. But again this was good to practice / experiment on

Keeping busy.
We were for a why doing a lot of colored stitching. It seems to have tapered off over the last year or two. Occasionally on a women's belt or pair of leggings but mostly day in and day out its white.Wow !!!! Great work
Yeah the black stitch didn’t give the rustic look I was thinking it would. Probably would’ve been been better off with natural thread , that’s what I get for second guessing myself lol. Although the black thread looks better in person, it’s still missing that look. I think I’ll keep the black thread for black leather , that blacked out look. I get asked for that every now and again![]()

Nichole keeps kicking out her duffel bags. Although spendy they have been crazy popular. She's made like ten already and has a pin up board in her office filled with orders to go. Here's another, this one goes to a Brand Inspector up north:

And her travel bags keep going too. She made a batch of five the other day and they are all gone:

Course then there is Mitchy. We're getting ready to register him. We went out to take some pics for his registration papers. Tough to pose a five month old colt. Kinda wants to go see the world and not stand still. They want to see all four legs in each shot too. Here's four of the six required:

Here's a pair of spur straps that shipped out yesterday. Been quite a while since I'd made a pair since Nichole mostly does this project. I did this one as she was tied up with duffels and I do the Carlos Border stamping anyways:

I've been gearing up lately. I battled with Covid for a few weeks. Then my youngest son flew home taking a vacation from the Navy for a couple of weeks and bought a new Tesla, then drove it back to California. Man, them things are faster than I thought they were. It pinned me in the seat pretty good. I gave him his Carothers DEK1 and the leather sheath that I made for him with the Navy patch. I'll see now how it holds up to use.
I've bought more Angelus paints and 2-Thin, Duller, and Leather Preparer to step-up my painting. I've been experimenting with mixing the colors with water and 2-Thin and stuff to get the best colors and penetration into the leather. I've also been setting up to start making Kydex sheaths. My B&D extra wide Oven arrived yesterday. I'm waiting for my Kydex and accessories to get here. I also bought a bunch of Ulti-Clips and some other sheath clips to check out. I got my granddaughter some Psychedelic Camo and Pink Rattler snakeskin Kydex. Her favorite colors are Pink and Purple. And she likes snakes. My oldest son has a Boa.
