Whacha Been Up To......

Made this slip sheath for a rather large Extrema Ratio T-Razor, while it does have a liner lock, it opens using an extended tang like a friction folder has, which provides a little more security during use, this is a big rascal with about a 4" blade and overall length over 9"

I tried to bring out as much detail as I could when I deeply embossed this one. Customer requested this particular embossing, it's surprising how many teeth these guys have! :)

Made a simple dump tray today. Lot’s of stitching.. 😅

Some recents:

Finished off that batch of knives and sheaths. Just traded this one off for a heifer yesterday.

He put it on his Horsewright belt right away that I'd made him several years ago.

Two of this set of three were prizes for a memorial roping at yesterday's rodeo here locally. The high carbon one was for the sponsor himself. Working on a matching belt today.

Here's a link to Camper's adventures:

I don't make too many sheaths for folders anymore but a friend ask me for one to use with a Leatherman ARC. I had never seen that particular Leatherman before but it looks pretty well made (USA made), useful and has a MagnaCut blade. It also comes with an extra set of bit which he wanted in the sheath as well.
I don't have Gary's Grayley's skill or patience at hand molding his outstanding sheaths so I make molds for this type of deal. This mold took about 30 minutes to make with material I had laying around and worked out pretty well for fit. The thick welt is for a pocket behind the tool that holds the bit set. Thought this might be useful information for others to use in making similar items with very little time and effort involved.

So I mentioned the sponsor above with the three Cowboy models, where he was donating two of the knives as prizes to a roping. Well he did good at the roping too. He won the knives! This was a belt I was making for him as well. The buckle was from another memorial roping obviously.

He'd given away the other two knives as presents to friends. Waiting on the leather for a pair of leggings for him.
