What is your church knife?

Interesting question! I don't personally carry a church knife, but I can see how it can be useful for different tasks. My church doesn't have any specific guidelines or recommendations for carrying a knife. But it's good to know that you have a trusty Benchmade mini afck that you've had for 12 years, it's great to have a reliable tool that you've had for that long. I think it's always important to be prepared and have the necessary tools for any situation. I will ask my pastor about the knife policy in our church.

Whoa! Zombie thread!
Not sure what I posted before. Might be the same that I carry now: BM710.
Generally, I'll be carrying the biggest thing I can cram in my pocket. That's always. Church is no different. It actually has never even occurred to me to talk to my pastor about it.

I carry whatever feels good to me that day.
As some others have said, I don't look as going to church any different than going to the store. Same for a wedding I just carry a knife. Whatever appeals to me that day.

Everyone knows GOD, Christ and most other Deities are into switchblades. 😝
Hmm, I thought being sheperds, they'd like sword canes/crooks.

I need a bubble sword in my life LEGION 12 LEGION 12 I think mine would be named the Bubble Sword of Destiny.

I burned quite a few calories overthinking this, some years ago. Not just for church, but for any kind of event where the atmosphere is less permissive because of (maybe what I perceive as the) social expectations, rather than any strict rules.

The trouble with any of the fancier handle materials is that it's still a knife.

My way around this was to buy this, and take a really good picture of it, so I could recycle it, whenever I needed to.

It's not a knife, it's a multitool.

Only time I go to church anymore is weddings and funerals/memorial services, so I am typically wearing a suit, which means I'm far more often than not carry my Ti Urban Trapper...

If I did ever start going back to church, I wouldn't always wear a suit however, I would come as I am, and thus would carry whatever I happened to carry that particular day, so any knife could potentially be the knife for church on any particular Sunday...

Two things made me chuckle when I saw the title. First, I always have my Spyderco Military in my pocket when hearing Sunday mass. I have my family with me. Ya know. Second, is the story of a local hotshot lawyer in a town in Batangas who murdered his rival in love right inside the church in their town using a balisong. That lawyer went on to become a chief justice and then president under the Japanese occupation during WWII. As chief justice, he acquitted another young lawyer in a murder case (this time against a political rival.) That young lawyer also became president.

So go to church regularly and have a clean conscience. But always have something sharp and handy.

Any knife will do. I might go for something a little smaller for the non knife folks. Maybe a GEC or somthing.
