What is your sharpest knife

Mine would have to be my Marbles Expert, that high carbor steel is scary sharp.

My sharpest knives out of the box are - Buck 110 masters followed closely by Spyderco Endura and Spyderco Goddard Lightweight. All 3 hold their edge better than the others I have including the benchmades.

Spyderco Moran #219, Small Sebenza #170, Spyderco Starmate, and R.J. Mc Donald Folding Fighter...Not in that order, just all VERY sharp

My sharpest knife is apt to be the one in my hand. I rarely pick one up to use it without stroping it or touching it up in some way. They all stay about equally sharp that way. Don't let them get dull and the question becomes academic.

They are all about equally sharp if one simply keeps them that way. Only a dull knife is hard to sharpen. Never let one get that way and the question becomes academic.

Gotta be my Sawby Combat/Utility folder with stainless damascus blade. The edge is so thin it's hard to see.

My sharpest run the gamut. In approximate order:
Spyderco Delica '98, Calypso Jr. plainedge, Cold Steel medium clip point Voyager, Buck 110, Cold Steel Large Tanto Voyager, Kershaw medium Liner Action plainedge, Sog Microdot, Case Pocketworn Canoe, Spyderco Dragonfly, Jess Horn Lightweight.
There are a LOT of very sharp knives that didn't make this list!

The Sebenza's are the keenest that I've seen but must also admit that the BlackJack knives were awesome in regards to sharpness out of the box. But then so was my Calypso VG-10 and the William Henry still has hair popping sharpness and hasn't needed to be tuned up yet, and yes I do use that knife, a lot!

I'm with Corduroy. My Blackjack Model 1-7 with 1095 carbon steel (I think) is the absolute sharpest thing I own.

Sharpest thing I own: Cetan Tanto

Sharpest thing I have seen: Custom damascus done by IRBI knives near Seward, AK..

Most consistantly sharp productions: Spyderco and Cold Steel...the BF NAtive was pretty wicked..

Most surprisingly sharp: Kershaw Whirlwind. Carver bought one and I was able to delibrately shave my fingerprints off with it.....And it passed the "draw blood painlessly" test as well...Ask Tom Carey..

Definitely my Jess Horn Lightweight.
(Just removed the band-aid this morning)
A close second would be an old Blackjack Mamba.

Interesting thread here, so I thought I'd see if we could add some more. My sharpest (out of the box) three would be a Pat Crawford/Kasper Neck Knife I just received, followed by a Spyderco Endura and then a Benchmade Mini Spike.

9/15/1999 - Just got my BF BLue Native. It smokes everything I've ever had sharpness-wise. Hairs are definitely falling off just seeing the edge!

My sharpest knife is a 330T Old Timer jack knife in 1095 carbon steel. The clip point blade is tarnished and stained, but right along the edge is a strip of glowing silver performance I've never been able to get out of any SS.

Brand new Spyderco Endura, serrated.

All my knives are shaving sharp, but believe it or not my sharpest knife is a Case Stockman folder! Though it does get dull fast.

Sharpest blade I own and have ever owned, is my Benchmade Tanto Auto. It is frightfully mortfying, heart attack, sharp. Makes razors seem dull.

The sharpest and best edge holding knife that I have is a Dozier general purpose hunter. The edge isn't fine like a razor rather it's more like a micro saw. The most razor like knife that I have is a Swedish carbon steel 3 1/4 inch full tang blade from Ragner's Forge. It's 1/16in thick, is supposed to be RC60, and shaves about as smoothly as a razor. It makes for a decent backup knife as is but I'll probably add a handle to at least one of them (I got two as they're only $12 ea).

I just finished touching up an Old Timer carbon steel lockblade trapper and it looks like it takes a nice edge too, about as nicely as some $5 Ericksson carbon steel Mora type knives that I have. It's hard to know if they're better than the Anza knife that I have, the ones made from annealed files. When I bought the Anza I was surprised that it shaved as well as it did with the factory edge, and after a couple of people asked about the knife at the counter and demonstrating it the store clerk said "oh quit showing off" :^)
