D3V would lend itself well to a machete, since it remains quite flexible at high hardness

A machete. There are plenty of thin, tough machetes, but none have matched the edge retention of what d3v could do while maintaining toughness. A nice, super thin machete.

I know they’re probably a PITA to make well compared to single-edged knives, but I would love to get a dagger. My dream is to be able to afford to commission an integral dagger but in the meanwhile I’d love a boot dagger.

It seems like y’all will be busy for a long time. That’s a good problem to have. If you’re still taking DJ requests, I wouldn’t mind seeing a new variation on the FK. Exact same handle, and handle girth, as the FK2 but with thinner stock and thinner edge geometry. Cheers.
