What knives were so good you bought a duplicate?

Bucklite max large and med, kabar folding doizer hunter. Victorinox pioneer. And Mora, opinel. Case large and Jr sod buster.buck 110.

When i first started buying spydercos i found myself buying doubles and sometimes triples of everyone i bought incase i ever broke or lost one. Pm2, delica, dragonfly, tenacious, manix, sage. Then i realized it was pointless to have doubles of all these because i never used them. So i sold all them off and now i currently only have a double of my 3inch xm-18.

Exact duplicates.....
-Benchmade 556
-Black alox pioneer
These are my 2 most used and idealistic, if I were to lose or damage one these another is ready for immediate replacement.

Duplicates as opposed to variants? IIRC:
Spyderco - Superleaf, Lionspy, Techno, Southard, Street Bowie
ZT - 0801, 0770CF
Busse B10
SYKCO 1311
A couple of alox SAKs

SAK
Benchmade Mini Grip

hey i just bought both of those! looks like have similar tastes the only difference is my 0770cf is in m390

im going to check out the others on your list and see if i like those as well..... DANG! now i have to add the southard and the lionspy to my list. i hadnt looked into spyderco much just because i dont like the looks of their knives and i prefer flippers and i didnt know they made any. i LOVE that southard and it being in CTS 204P is just a very nice bonus. i think it may have just moved up in the batting order to be my next folding knife purchase

Yep, I only have duplicates of knives that I really like but also find at really good prices. I bought a 2nd Southard with the idea to thin and smooth the G10 scale on one of them. The Lionspy is a great hard use folder in a compact package - a Lionspy and a Victorinox bushcrafter gives you a very capable pocketful of steel.

Glock FM81 during my time in the army and after it was all beat up because of using it as a throwing knife after army i had to buy another one but with plain spine, FM78, same knife in practise. Best outdoor knife i have ever used and its almost indestructible. The FM81 is still usable but i have to reprofile the edge and smooth out the handles because i threw it mostly on a rocky terrain.

Pm2, Lil matriarch, spyderco frn goddard, just got a zt 0350 and will buy a duplicate. 3 leatherman waves if that counts.
