What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Not long ago, my dad was moving out of his house and into an apartment and found a pocket knife that was given to him when he was just 13 years old. He gave it to me as a gift and after a thorough cleaning, I found out it was a hibbard spencer bartlett. I started poking around and found some of these "Our Very Best" barlows and have been keeping an eye out for them. Yours looks very nice!

It was a lucky find at a reasonable price given the synthetic cover. Some of the knives pictured on the forums with these old bolster stamps are flat out awesome!

Very cool to have that imo! I have a "Our Very Best" I have posted it here before, but whose counting!? I'm fairly certain this grand daddy is Camillus made

Dirty ole’ barlow

Added another Case red bone to the pile this week, XX era, 1940 to 1964, with all the angles and edges to the bone I'm thinking it is closer to 1940 and a carryover from the Tested era.

The Imperial one-legged knife arrived today.
It's a fine little knife. However, with only one blade, and only one bolster stamped BARLOW, it begs the question, "What do I call it, a Half-Barlow?" Heh-Heh

Thanks Eveled, it's factory, the pattern number is 62009R, R is for razor. I have a 10 dot in the collection also, picture of both that also shows where Case changed the pen blade to behind the main, this occurs right before the 10 dot from what I have observed.
