Thanks Jeff - I hope I don't really kill you - I would miss you too much. ;):D

Thanks Duncan - things might brighten up friend. ;):D

Here I was, all excited about getting my first one (secondhand), and y'all have 3 or 4 new ones!

Oh well, this one will have to do... :)

All the more prized! Besides, you can only use one at a time!!

Here is a quick iPhone pic of my new one...

Anybody else really impressed with the edges on these? I've had some pretty dull knives from GEC in the past but this one, the 78 I got today as well, and even the 66 slim I got last month have all been very sharp out of the tube. Not sure if I've just gotten lucky or if GEC had really improved in this area.

Have a second one of these on order so one will become a regular carry for sure, probably battling it out with my new 78 for a while.

Some beautiful Charlows here. Blackwood, sawcut, jigged.....all very nice. I'm still counting down the days when my Stew's blades will arrive. And KICKING myself for missing out on the single spey blade that came up on the exchange. The time difference between Singapore and US means I'm always asleep when the good stuff comes online.

For just getting one, that's definitely a major score. Love the sawcut bone!
I agree - the one you got is a dandy - and one that I don't have! ;):D

I wasn't too satisfied with my Stew's Blade photos, so I took another set around sunset tonight:

:)

I suppose the arrival of my new knives has suddenly cured my cartoon craze, at least until a new batch is released, sometime in the future. :p

Primble: You take really great pictures sir, do you polish the knives up at all before shooting? You make them look like exquisite art pieces!!

I wonder how many traditional knives you have sold due to your photos...seriously.

Thank you very much for the compliment sir and I do run over a knife with a microfiber polishing cloth before photographing them, it scares the dust bunnies away!

As far as your second question goes - I have no idea - there are a lot of great photos posted here by different members every day. Maybe the dealers know. :D

Forgot to mention that you had some nice incomings today, as well Thieves!:)

It was definitely a great mail day :)

You got some real nice lookers as well man, that African blackwood Stews Blade is beautiful.

Hahaha Phil. You know, I've been here for two weeks and haven't even seen a stinking kangaroo or wallaby!

The barlow is safe, I'll fight for that one :)

Thank you Jack and Gevonovich. Well the straggler 3rd Cut Stag 2 blade Charlow arrived today. I suppose I ordered more than my fair share of this run, but, please remember I was late to the party and missed out on most of those beautiful long pull Charlows - ones that I have unsuccessfully tried to acquire. I really love both of these new arrivals. :)
