What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Thanks Phil! Yes, I have got two now. Trying to catch up with you NOT. Feel fortunate to have two and those took some darn good luck to find. I would love to find the SF variation for a trifecta but with only what around 6 made that would really be a stroke of super good luck. Lloyd

Since I am so much less bossy:D than Primble, I sent my KA-BAR Dog's Head Coppersmith to our friend Mark with merely one request: lighten this baby up by removing the pen blade. The results - perfection. Thank you Mark!! Rainy here today, but I had to get a photo posted, the copper collection:

Excellent!

Charlie, Lloyd, Phil, btb01, thanks fella's for the kind words on the Dogshead. Phil, I will be working on that patina, some guy polished it all up when he put new pins in it!:D

"C" is a keeper, Lemmy!!;)
Nice little message for you - every day!!

She sure is Charlie! It's nice how the patina that's forming obscures the laser etched lettering but it can still be seen clearly at certain angles and since the engraving is deep it can always be felt when you pass a finger over it. Really makes this one special to me. With the white bone and the all steel construction everything on this knife will age with dignity.

Great knife Lemmy - isnt it great to have thought like that go into a gifted knife!!! the Patina is coming along hard and Fast!!!

Primbs Sir -I always enjoy taking photo's with those coloured leaves - that turned out wonderful!

Mark my freind, your work is just awesome - man I wish I had your talents.
