What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I was just looking at the GEC website and I saw there's a few more pictures of the new run of TC Barlows. Does anybody know if the Clip Blades are the same shape as the most recent run of the #77 medium Barlows? Thanks :D

Can't tell for sure because the picture only shows the pile side . The picture does show a deep , or wide , blade very similar to the 77's . The 77's had a clip with a long match strike pull. The 77's are pinchable .

They looked fairly similar to me from the pic on GEC's website. The latest clip on the 77's was much more distinct that previous versions, I really liked it. Hope to see it on the TC's!

The latest one is the bottom one .

Those are beautiful, Harry! Dang, I just missed that last 77 run by minutes. :( I was driving when the early reserve notice came up. By the time I could pull over, they were all gone. I'm glad you were able to get one. :)

Yes they will, but that's the #15 clip point shape, it's what they always have. This was the first run of 77s to have that shape, they usually have the shape shown below:

Thank you everyone. I was just wondering because they looked the same as the 77s to me as well. I missed that run but I managed to score 2 TC Barlows from this run. Cant wait to see them in hand.:D
