Every once in a while, a "second" comes off the bench at GEC, and I usually buy them.
Sometimes it is a slight variance in the handle covers. GEC is proud of how well they match the handles, but the Bone handled knife here must have been the last one assembled before lunch!
Beautifully made, just mismatched handles. Maybe it'll be worth a zillion dollars some day - like a postage stamp with the airplane printed upside down!!
The other knife in the picture is a "Thank You" knife, I think for ordering so many Barlows and being a friend to GEC!. I owe that one to all my good friends here who enjoy the knives!
The handles are pre-ban xxxxx stuff.
