I just edited Jerry's post:)

I am getting many e-mails however I NEED YOUR FORUM NAME AN YOUR FULL NAME:)

"I am getting e-mails with picture's and it says Joe":confused:

Kinda confusing:D

That is all so if you did not include that in your e-mail please e-mail me again with your proper information.

Thank you so much,

And outta respect for Amy - keep yer clothes on in the pix, boys. Unless your last name is Pitt and your first is Brad and you hang out with a crazy tattooed chippy with some adopted kids.

Yer welcome, Amy. LOL

Thank ya'll for this opportunity! From someone who'll probably never make it to Blade this really is appreciated!

I think I am classed as a hog, mm could be a piglet:confused:

I think there are a lot of people who would love to be able to make the blade show but just can't get there. It's an expensive trip, and as anyone knows if you love busse as much as we all do, its hard to not spend that money on more knives. :)

For me personally, I'm glad there is an opportunity for those of us who can't make it to still become "Hog's". Just because I can't make the trip doesn't mean I don't love the company, the knives, and this community we have here as much as any "Hog".

Maybe someday I will be able to make blade for a proper induction. Really, i would just prefer to meet everyone and share some drink and laughs. For now, I'm glad to have this chance to have the honor of becoming "hog".

Thanks.

I don't blame Jerry one bit for wanting more HOGs in the pen. It's better for business, and it brings in new blood to the community.

Being a True HOG means being able to let it go when you are being attacked on the internet. It means you have figured out you can't have it all, and be happy for those who are able to score a great knife even if that's the one you wanted. It means when other asks questions, you answer if you know the answer or point them in the proper direction.
If you don't like what someone says, you don't have to attack them back because you are strong in what you do and what you believe. This is the internet, everyone can see, especially the HOGs that has been around.

First many thanks Jerry. I had been thinking about e-mailing you or Amy and politely asking if I could become a Hog, but I didn't think I was worthy. Although I have been a member of bladeforums for almost two years and joined after finding out about Busse and Bussekin knives, I don't post very often. However, I do visit a lot and feel like part of the community. I've participated in a couple of ganza's and plan on participating tonight. I own 4 Busse knives, a couple of Swamp Rats, and a couple of Scrapyards. In fact, over the last few years a disproportionately large part of my paycheck seems to end up in the hands of one or more members of the Busse family.:)

So even if some Old Hogs feel like Jerry is lowering his standards I hope us newbies will be treated with the same friendliness that characterizes this forum in general, and that makes it such a fun place to hang out.

As a new guy I am not sure who are official HOGS, but when I read the forums I know who the true ones are.

I am an IT HOG and some of the Old Guard weren't happy with how that went down. I understand in some regards, but if you are worth your INFI, time will tell. A title is just a title. I have been around awhile now and have many friends here, but I earned this. My HOG title means something now. Jerry gave it to me, but I made it matter. Welcome to all you new HOGs, and hopefully you will be part of what makes Busse and HOGdom so great.

Okay everyone

Let's keep this thread ON TRACK:)

I second that, let's not use the term "Hog" and its meaning among us or this thread to try and get yourself redeemed.

The meaning to me is a great group of people that know and meet each other and share a common interest.

Busse and Amy-O that's a very generous offer. Even though I don't qualify even under the simple requirement you have put up, it just builds on the considerable reputation you've built. Besides, I'm a DOG at heart ;)

I'll happily take my Muk at Ganza price for my first piece of INFI and look forward to the next.

I have a new bottle of Woodford Reserve ready to be opened tonight, hopefully it doesn't dull my response time in the Ganza.

Wow.
Thanks Jerry.
The choice is often- new INFI blade, or a trip to Blade.
I think I might cry on my CABS.
Pics inbound soon! :)
