I wish our primitive ancestors hadn't been such a bunch of pinheads. It isn't worth trying on a second-hand hat.
But it just occurred to me I could buy a used tweed jacket and try to make a hat. A bucket hat might be within my abilities.
Though the venerable watch cap is not exactly the chickens' feets.

I found several that came home with me, my favorite was made in Ireland with a Scot name, Hugh, inked on the lining.

I haven't been there since 1976. I must find that pic of my cryptid strike force on the shore of Loch Ness.

Went a little heavy on the carry today- there was talk of Esky Zulus in the GEC thread yesterday, so I had to carry mine today. Got my 86s in the mail yesterday and just couldn't resist bringing them along as well. My right pocket is full!
