Nice addition to your family, John.
The next time you’re in Edinburgh (you really should visit Scotland) stop in one of the two Armstrong’s resale shops. You’ll have hundreds to sort through.I wish our primitive ancestors hadn't been such a bunch of pinheads. It isn't worth trying on a second-hand hat.
But it just occurred to me I could buy a used tweed jacket and try to make a hat. A bucket hat might be within my abilities.
Though the venerable watch cap is not exactly the chickens' feets.

May not be much adventure wise, but you’re well equipped for anything that happens on the way out to the mailbox. It's a CV Sowbelly today. Won't be going to town until Thursday so, no adventure to report on today.

I haven't been there since 1976. I must find that pic of my cryptid strike force on the shore of Loch Ness. The next time you’re in Edinburgh (you really should visit Scotland) stop in one of the two Armstrong’s resale shops. You’ll have hundreds to sort through.
I found several that came home with me, my favorite was made in Ireland with a Scot name, Hugh, inked on the lining.
Thank you very much, Jack!!!A beautiful matching pair![]()
