It's funny, but I've been cutting steak, and sausage, and other foods... but this particular knife is slow to patina.

We now have a very reliable milkman which along with a reliable postman is a joy.

So I got out this old Bavarian Beauty that has been cleaned and polished by a German craftsman.

I bought it in Munich along with many a good glass of the words best lager and Bratwurst to match

I have a Hubertus that's similar but not so fancy, me being a plain folk.

The pro-hunter sheath sufficeth for a belt frog.

very nice, I think they wore them in their socks while wearing leder hosen,thats a step to far for me though.

I like the 'Moditionals'. M390 steel is more than impressive and the titanium makes this light in the pocket. Hope knifeswapper can do some more of these kinds of knife. He hasn't been at all active here lately, I hope all is well.

Had a little care package delivered. They are not fresh enough to squeak when you eat them, but they are from Wisconsin so it’s a little taste of home.

Being from Florida, I didn’t know cheese curds existed until I met my wife who is from Iowa. They are SO GOOD. Every time we visit we load up on curds!

That seems to be an unusually light patina considering what you've used it for John. My Case knives have patinaed pretty quickly when I've used them for food, much like GEC's 1095
