What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I took my new Imperial utility to do some volunteer interior painting today.

Good thing I did, they went off and left us with paint cans and nothing to open them with.

This old horse has seen paint before, clearly. We were using white primer.

Great looking 66 !!! That micarta just makes it about as durable as it gets. How many springs on the 66? Hard to tell, but looks like the main and spey are on the same spring and sheepfoot/coping on its own?
The shield reminds me of the old Camillus plain ovals (and maybe others, Schrade?) ... like on a Camillus 76 stockman, but the GEC shield is a little more rounded.

Thanks! The main clip has a spring and the sheep and spey share a spring. I love the simplicity of the oval. Definitely goes well with the Micarta and the Tideoute trim. I know what you mean about the Camillus. A bit more pointed on the ends, but the same vibe.

Nice to see the Jack. 🤠

This after a couple of steaks, several hot sausages, and a few apples... It's been patina resistant, but it's getting there.
Yep, like your Lambsfoot, it isn’t always in my pocket, but it is almost always in the “box.” 😊👍
Being from Florida, I didn’t know cheese curds existed until I met my wife who is from Iowa. They are SO GOOD. Every time we visit we load up on curds!
They are also pretty good deep fried, but then again, isn’t almost anything? 😊👍
