  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My wife bought me these for 5 bucks each on close out from wally world when little did I know, the great American company Schrade was going out of business. Carrying the 34OT, and the 152 Sharpfinger was bought at the same time (of course wish I had bought more).

Makes the mind spin a little bit just thinking about The Right Place at The Right Time...
Lovely pocket knife,Rachel.

You’ve forced me to learn something today.

“Chip A Way was an E.C. Simmons brand, and was used on pocket knives from 1891-1920.”

Paint cans is one area where the 302 wouldn't shine particularly. I'll stay with the Imperial for the long bottle-opener that can be pried with without stressing the joint.
If they don't have a Phillips screwdriver to take off the electrical covers, I'll just have to paint around them. Or go home early! There are some atmospheres in which a sensitive soul can't work.
(On the right, a Schrade Century Mercury in green, and an Ulster the size of a Cub Scout.)

Alox Knife of the Week is a silver Vic Cadet (thanks, Ken):

non-Alox SAK is a Wenger Esquire:

Bailed non-SAK this week is the Cannon sheepsfoot from this set of three:

International Knife of the Week is an "unbranded" Laguiole caza (hunter), a birthday gift for me bought in Toledo, Spain by my daughter 4 years ago. (I think it's probably Chinese-made and imported to Spain by Martinez Albainox.)
