Never held one but always admired the convex grinds on these in pics. How does it cut?

With winter coming we always seem to lose power here and there. I have some propane lanterns but also keep some old white gas lanterns on hand too. I’ll fire them up and check mantels to make sure I’m not fumbling in the dark trying to do it.

To be honest it’s hard to tell a difference with cutting performance but a convex grind feels like it holds a edge a little longer. Also this particular model a Gunny feels great in hand and makes a perfect EDC in non rural area because of its size and ease of carry but yet if your camping out in the woods it should be able to do all that you can ask of it and need.
