Jeff, no clue about the age. When I got it a couple years ago the plastic handles had shrunk significantly so I had glennbad rehandle it for me.

Drove past a mining town named Wilkeson that was founded mid to late 1800's after a railroad was built to haul mined coal and sandstone. Coal was railed to Tacoma and converted to coke then shipped out to San Francisco foundries. (to make knives? )

Kept driving and crossed this bridge.

Then hit the end of the road that was washed out.

These two Queen Barlows today.

I have one of those Queen Workhorse Barlow Sheepfoot, a simple inexpensive knife that's well made. Too bad Queen was unable to keep its quality at acceptable levels at the end. These were nice useful workers.
