It was my first GEC, and what got me started down this rabbit hole.

The Yellow Rose is my first GEC as well! In fact I have 2 copies of the 97 pattern now.

Long dog walk, changed the battery on my wife's car, doing a few tasks around the house, dropped everything to go look at an open house. These two are doing everything I need from knives today.

I "grew up" (or at least got older and taller) in Iowa.
If memory serves, a "snow squall" is about a step below a "blizzard".
I hope you made it through without getting snowed in, loss of power, tree(s) crashing into home or car, discovering your car under a snow drift, having to shovel the roof ...

I was hoping GEC would run a Jack with their current #77 Barlows, since I've been wanting one for years.
So, I'm more than super excited to be able to get this one in a trade as i watch everybody else post their new Barlows.

Yesterday and again today, this Wrangler is becoming a frequent visitor to my LFP. Got a bit of use opening packaging (lures) and I managed to snag a lure on the bottom of the river, had to break off the leader - Improved Albright knot and Trilene knot tags to cut. OH
