It came Pre-patinaed, in order words, perfect. Thanks, Todd. I'll bet yours has a little more patina on it.![]()
Thanks Jeremy.More awesome pics here. That breakfast, yum, and the IRJ continues to impress.
Well Jim, if I drew any attention at all it was when I was swiveling around in all directions to see if anyone was watching BEFORE I pulled out my knife for the picture.I have to admit, Todd -- this photo really struck my funny bone this morning. I think we all become so accustomed to taking photos of our knives that we get to the point where we don't even think about it. Still, I had to wonder what your fellow diners were thinking when you laid your knife down on top of your breakfast and started snapping photos!![]()
Exactly!Great picture and amazing looking breakfast.
Harry eats there... they're probably used to it.![]()
Looks right also.
Thanks a lot Ed.Late to the party Todd but much congrats to your Daughter and of course Dad
Beautiful pictures also my friend!
It was tempting, especially since our car has almost 200,000 miles on it.Fantastic pics ToddI'd have shelled out $125 for the double-bit axe, why did anyone have to make it into 'art', that's quite a price tag?!

That's a shame, but it looks like you ate wellI'd have had to take in The Car On The Ice!

Thank you, my friend.Looks right also.
All the years I lived in Michigan I never drove a car on a frozen lake. I don't know if it still happens, but when I was growing up there'd be two or three end up in the bottom of Lake St. Clair every year. And ice shanties. And snowmobilesSpeaking of the “Wise One,” Harry and I weren’t able to meet for breakfast before we headed home this morning, bummed about that, but we did take his advice about driving on the ice and a breakfast place. Thanks Harry, Egg Harbor was fantastic! View attachment 1747956View attachment 1747958
I’m a sucker for Carnitas, and with eggs, yummy!Kinda surprised you didn’t recommend your own place Harry.

They don't make them like that anymoreFound these old grass shears at my dads house. Had fallen back behind a shelf and sat there for the last 40+ years. Cleaned them up & ready to go. Pretty sure they are same ones I used when I was a teenager. Have a great week.

Thanks Jack !Great-looking pair Steve![]()
We just kind of stayed where we were and they walked by on the other side of the street. We were definitely cognizant of the fact that she might act different with the cubs. You are very lucky to see those bears,I expect you have to keep well away from the cubs for safety?
I’m with you, although I don’t generally bring guns on ski vacations. Fortunately we haven’t had to deal with that situation yet.Nope. Enviro greenies might not want to watch, but if Yogi and it’s brood break down my door and start rummaging through my leftovers, I’m getting a new bearskin rug.
What about some snowboarding Bart?![]()
We went for a couple hours and my legs were like jello at the end. I’m way too tense.Looks fun, last time I went ice skating I only lasted 30 minutes because my feet hurt so bad.![]()
Thanks, Todd. It was very cool to see the cubs climbing trees and wrestling in the grass, but disappointing to see them reliant on breaking into houses and dumpster diving and no one seems to try to solve the problem. Both side gates on the house we rent are broken down from the bears passing through.Very cool pictures, such beautiful animals, it breaks my heart to see them digging through trash and breaking into houses for food.![]()
Remove the wheels and strap the boards to your feet... I'm sure that's how snowboarding got started.![]()
Thanks, John. Not nearly enough snow for February.Glad to see you're having a good time in Tahoe. We were in Truckee yesterday and there's not a whole lot of snow.
The Bear League has really done the bears a disservice in Tahoe.
Very true JohnLooks like your old school bat signal is going off.
Thank you, Jack.
You both look like you're having a fun time.
I'm with Harry, I wouldn't drive on it... heck, you'd have to talk me into walking on it.

They've always been a problem, it's just getting worse.

The place we usually go burned in that fire last summer and hasn’t opened up this winter.

I know, to me digging through our garage is beneath them, but then I don’t have to deal with Bear issues so I’m sure others feel differently. Thanks, Todd. Great knife Bart, have a safe trip home. One more shot of the soda scout before we head home.
