What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Saturdays are for cleaning ...
Was going to make a bunch of random Internet strangers people mad today
But first, decided to scrape out my Griswold Cast Iron Skillet with this 86 before tossing the skillet in the dishwasher
A clean skillet is a happy skillet :)

Love it :D

But don't forget that there a KNIFE compartment in the dishwasher too.. 🙀👏

I do cleaning on Sunday- kind of...wonder which knives need a good 70 C cycle ? One of my brothers put a knife of mine in the dishwasher " It's only an old knife what are you b** about???" Relations have remained strained ever since 😆

I loved my Mesa Mark IV, had it for a couple decades, but finally let it go a few years ago - even with the wheels I added it was just too heavy and awkward to haul around, and it was too hard to get my tone at a volume that was reasonable. (Turn master volume down too low and it feels like you're making the guitar whisper.) I just got an AXE I/O with Amplitube and have been enjoying the Mark IV emulator - it sounds so good (at whatever volume). The Subway Rocket is interesting - I need to check one of those out sometime.
I’ll bet the Mark IV was glorious if you could turn it up, but heavy and loud, eh?
JK Hiker’s Backup went for a walk on the trail with the dog this morning and cut up dog treats. Guitars are Taylor GS Mini-e Koa + and 717e , Ed G Ed G .

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund , John Hiatt is an absolute treasure. I‘m enjoying playing some of the songs from the newer album he did with Jerry Douglas Band.

And don’t forget to use your pocket knife to pry the pebbles out of your car tires.

Interesting experiment, Todd! Maybe you could start a thread called "Traditional Knives and Body Parts that Resemble Food.”

Glad to hear the visit went well. Terrific knife trio you've posted, Jeff!

Got a laugh out of that.

Thank you, Gary
Awesome pair of schrades. How did the cranking up go?
Thank you! Like you said before, not that long along ago, you could get them at any Mom ‘n Pop hardware store.
Now the knives, and the Mom’n Pops are gone :(

Amp’s 100%, thank you ;)

Got an early start today; left the house about 4:30am. Got on the walleye pretty quickly this morning, but they were all small. Couldn’t keep the white perch off long enough to catch walleye. All in all it was a good trip, and I got a chance to use one of my new reels gifted to me (thanks Ed!🙂) I had this #65 with me today.

Mrs. Crappie was firearm shopping while I was gone and found this LCP and she wanted me to go with her to buy it. She seems to prefer it over the newer models. It’s not her primary carry but will make a good backup to her 38 revolver.

Man, you have some very productive water there! Besides being a talented catcher of fish...
I dig the photo of the Practical Knife and Garcia. My all time favorite reels!
