You're really knocking it out of the park with your pics John
Thank you, Jack. :)
Give it time, I'm sure I'm peaking. ;)
Looking fantastic! 🤠
That Stag! 😲
Notable pair, John!
Thank you, GT. :)
I thought you'd like that 2-blade jack. And although it doesn't have round bolsters, there's no crisp lines or sharp corners on the bolsters.
That knife will always have a special place in my memories. 🤠

Old Engineer Old Engineer brought his Arnos to let me fiddle with them when we saw each other this past spring. Fiddled, but no puttering.
They are super nice.

Remember the wee little 808Y you gave me? Does it make my BET (Bacon Egg Tomato) sandwich look big?0B18E7CA-57E6-449C-A24D-C326865C1609.jpeg

Knice peaceful feel!
Is the one with the bail considered an electrician’s knife? Back when I was still strapping tools on, that’s what we called it.
Didn’t know if that’s its legit name.
Yessir. It’s an electrician, also called a Linesman. If gov issue, it’s called the TL-29,
Tool, Linesman-29. I’ve read that it was issued to the guys who ducked their heads down and ran from command posts to forward positions laying line from spools, and hooking them up to field radios/walkie talkies. They were Linesmen, and so their knife was called the same.
And it’s likewise ideal for electrical work, so the name Electrician is equally popular.
You may have used one like the one on the right, with the black handles. I broke one of those apart and put it back together with cow bone from the doggie treat aisle at walmart.

The one on the left is lovely cocobolo rosewood, which I wouldn’t ever bust apart and replace.

That knife will always have a special place in my memories. 🤠

Great Pairing, Jeff... Very useful and beautiful.

Thank you John!
It appears we carried the same jack knife in high school, and share the same fond memories.
