We have never had any cheese from Cuba City , but I am sure it will be great . Our favorite cheese is made in Broadhead and is about 70 miles from where we live .That is some beautiful country over around Cuba City . Drive safely and have fun my friend .Harry, since I drove this time I’ll have the fridge loaded with cheese from my favorite place in Cuba City. They might as well close down because they won’t have any inventory left when I get done with them!!![]()
That looks great!I reckon it is the 606 again today. It jumped in my pocket like it owns it.
I rubbed a little bone black powder on the bare wood and rubbed it in, before I stained the wood and sealed it. ( Just a little touch of antiquing )

Love that skinner, really good, useful blade shape. Thanks for sharing!
Gary, great taste as usual. I'm particularly fond of that Cudeman!(Do my photos look OK lately - no worse than usual? I've always resized my photos before posting, but recently I've been using 640x640 pixels rather than th 800x800 I used to resize to, and the result is to reduce photos that come from the camera between 1 and 2 megabytes down to around 100 kilobytes (instead of the approximately 200 KB I had been using).)
More Spanish knives for me.
Cudeman I bought in Toledo, Spain:

Love those coins, Alan! Those brass handles look like they will age very beautifully.
Thanks Steve. I get the coins as change whenever I ride the train. I was in downtown Manhattan yesterday at the ATF building. It's been so long I almost forgot what a beehive the Wall St. area is. The brass ages quickly.Love those coins, Alan! Those brass handles look like they will age very beautifully.
But you have to try, Gary. Someone might have slipped in a pocket clip!Been away at the races in Saratoga Springs. I doubt I'll catch up with this thread. So I'm not going to try.
Eureka Jack and Giant Mouse for the day. Have a good one!

I think you chose well. I don’t even bother looking at GECs unless they’re posted here. Every time I get an email from a distributor, and take the bait, it says SOLD OUT.I have wanted a good, strong, solid lockback for quite a while. GECs 72LB in Gabon ebony or jigged bone is a grail knife for me, but the few times I've found one they're either 4 or 5 hundred dollars. I just can't afford that much, so I started looking around for some different lockbacks. Well, I finally went with this one, & it's built like a tank. So far, I'm very happy with it.

Nice! What is the function of the micarta disc?
If I had one of those, I might say the same.View attachment 1901894My all time favourite!
It’s the Dutch tulips/Beanie Babies phenomenon.Such an awesome knife. And an amazing utility knife. That’s being just ruined by the flippers.
Careful! That job calls for a TL-29!9![]()
Somehow I managed to post this in a completely different spot but here's the right spot. Anyway 68 again today.
Such a great expression on the lil guy’s face! Thanks Todd. Benny went with the boker today

The bridge got me across the Mississippi into Wisconsin. The surface is completely open like a grate and I remember as a kid there was one we used to cross all the time that scared the heck outta me.
Thanks Steve, I needed to re-fuelThanks Jack. I love your coffee mug - That would probably fit in pretty well here.... Your knife is pretty nice also!![]()
Thanks buddy, you can't beat a good cup of Grumpy!A very appropriate mug for today, my friend.![]()

Sounds good EdHeaded to town for the first time since last Thursday. First stop will be the dentist for Cindy and since the Wagon Wheel Cafe is closed on Wednesday, we'll chow down at the Brass Rail (a Basque Restaurant) - Lamb Stew, homemade bread, and salad. Since our larder is a bit low, we'll get groceries at the Holiday Market, the Grocery Outlet, and maybe the 4-Corners Market. "Patch" will do any cutting chores we might run across while on our trip.
