What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Feeling "Nautical" today. I don't know why. We're roughly 300-miles inland from the ocean and almost all of the reservoirs are critically low on water what with the drought we're experiencing so, there's really nowhere to float a boat. It's town day so, it's off to the Post Office, the Wagon Wheel Cafe, the Holiday Market, and Cindy says she wants to stop at the Grocery Outlet for vegetables. To satisfy this strange "Nautical" feeling I have, I'll be totin this Navy theme Sod Buster Jr. and my Shellback challenge coin. Pancakes and Sausage at the Wagon Wheel !!!!

Well Ed, they say you can take the sailor out of the sea, but you can’t take the sea out of the sailor. 😗

I got up this morning and discovered that I had no water. I have a well and the pump won't kick on. The well box only has 3 components: 2 capacitors and one relay. The capacitors checked out ok, but not the relay. I carried this 15 all over town looking for a replacement relay. Nope Disappointed.gif Everybody wanted to be helpful, offering suggestions of where I might find one, but eventually I ran out of places. I have one ordered and paid for 2-day Fedex. I'm pretty sure the relay is not relaying, but the installation is 28+ years old (it was here when I bought the house), so it could be the pump or something else. If worse comes to worse, I'll go back to Tennessee. I have a place down there with running water thumb.gif

Everybody's gonna want to stay upwind 😝

Oh, yeah, I ordered propane today too umph.gif

Pony Jack with all the proof the VA needs that I'm poisoning myself.

Thanks, Greg! My garden is a somewhat rewarding hobby, but at times it is demanding of time and labor, kind of like…

work! 😱

This is a very nice photo, Travis.

Real nice SW 293, my friend!

Success!
You might want to call it the Rip Van Winkle garden bench. It fell asleep in the garden, and woke up and found the world changed.

Anyway, you need a cutting board for cleaning fish. Wives don’t like that in the kitchen!
Thanks mate
Probably not fish, maybe a dog bone or 2.

That's a fair point Jeff. Actually, I didn't mind being at sea. On the cruise where I got the certificate, once we left Singapore, passed through the Strait of Malacca, then the Andaman Sea and into the Indian Ocean it was 91-days before we sighted land off the coast of Kenya. Piece of cake.:)
