The Grohmann Bird and Trout did not do any work , but I am telling on it 👍😎

Some days, you pay more for filling your gas tank than you ever expected to; some days you carry more knives than you have any actual use for. Today was both of those days.

Or as the stranger said in The Big Lebowski, “Some days you eat the barr and some days the barr eats you”. Looks like you got et. Guess that’s why I ride a motorcycle. 🤷😃

The little 1 for most the day & solo when I got home.
The wife & I just the 2 of us( Very rare!) went in town for a walk along the harbour foreshore. I made the effort of taking some pics of Newcastle harbour for you😉
It's on the east coast, walking towards the headlands, on the right headland is Nobys lighthouse on the North, suburb of stockton. Further up is the port authority and pilot boats.

Nobys beach which is south side of headland with lighthouse in the back ground.

They're up there with traditional folders, amiright? Mine is made by Simon Stonehocker, one of my favorite knifemakers. Cruwear @ 63+ hrc is amazing! Your new Boker Brookie is super fun looking, Bart. Seeing as you spend so much time with our bovine brethren, had you considered picking up a Cowbell?
Thanks, I’ve been enjoying the Brookie. I checked out the Stonehocker knives today. He makes some really nice looking small fixed blades. I actually have been looking into the cowbells. I’ve been seeing more of them here lately and they look really good. Too many choices.
Two great knives, Bart. Hope the beer turned out good.
Thanks Jeremy. I don’t brew too often so I worry about how it turn out. This batch was good👍

Just spoke to Jeff. He and his wife were able to evacuate and are safe!
The initial reports of his mobile home in Florida are not good, so he has a long road ahead of him and will be in need of help.
That's good news Jon, thank you for letting us know

Iskra -

What model is that? Have not seen that before. A Victorinox or Wenger? The shape of the can opener and exposed rivets are different from any of the SAKs I have. Interesting knife. Looks a bit like an older Spartan.
