What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hope Mrs. Crappie gets better soon.
I heard about pine needle tea as a home remedy but have not tried it. Will any pine needles work?
Thanks. I hope she’s better soon. I don’t know about all pine needles working, but red, white, and Jack pine as well as Eastern Hemlock will work. Just get a handful of needles, chop them up to about an inch long, pour boiling water over them, and let them steep for ten or fifteen minutes. The needles will sink to the bottom of the cup. Just drink the tea off top; pine needles are loaded with Vitamins C and A. The best part is it’s free and natural.

Or take that pine tea and use it to make simple syrup, then use that to make a Rye and Pine. Delicious and medicinal (but not quite in the same way as your tea). I hope Mrs. Crappie is feeling tip-top again soon.

Glad you have some time and motivation Jon, can’t wait to see what you come up with. 😎👍

Love this photo. 😎👍

Thanks Todd. I’m recreating “Chief” (the picture was before his bitter fate). In a weird way him being eaten by my dogs has held me back. A lot of time and effort went into it. It’s like I need to redo it to move on and get back into carving/whittling.

I say it every time, that Davison is great, Jack. 👍
Thanks buddy, I always mean to carry it more :)
Getting close to finished on my carve your own cherry wood Opinel No. 8. Quite a bit more time involved than I ever imagined, which will likely never be repeated. 😊

Wow! I jut can't keep up with this thread!
Have a peaceful Sunday folks!
These two today. Noticed some unfamiliar scat deposited near my photo stage. Some creature doesn't want me taking pictures there?

That happened to me a few months back Gary, didn't notice until I'd taken the pic  Hope you had a great Sunday with those two stunners :)

Had this Alox Pioneer with me today. Mrs. Crappie is feeling under the weather, so I pulled off a handful of pine needles and steeped her a cup of pine tea.

Hope the pine needles work, and that Mrs Crappie is feeling better soon
Thank you very much, Jack!!! :)

Perfect pairing for your Sunday slicing and chopping needs; both of those totes are quite the super cool lookers, too! ;)👍👍

I grabbed these two stag covered totes for Sunday. :)
Thank you very much my friend, that's some sublime stag on your two Teutonic titans :)

Wishing everyone a good week :) Starting mine with these two
