What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You almost slipped up, we will let this time slide :D

I was about to shamefully admit none today when I stuck my hand into my pocket to double check and lo and behold I pulled out the BFC 2009 Queen/Schatt Morgan Barlow, I guess I can keep my folksy card. ;)

Hey, do you have a pocket knife on ya?

Well, let me see am I wearing pants? Well, yep I am! I must have a pocket knife on me then. :D

Had these two with me today.. Old Remington Cattle knife with punch and a Remington jack knife. Old Remington
bone might just look the best...imho. Hard to beat.

Very beautiful!! Can you tell us more about it?

The maker is Dave Skinner.

Here is his initial thread Here

Specs:

3mm N690 blade: 59HRC

9.4cm closed
6.9cm cutting edge
16.5cm over all.

Been carrying it since I got it.

Here is my review:

Speaking of A.G. Russell, my new maple burl muskrat is along for the ride today. It's a sweetheart of a smaller knife (3 1/4") with the typical excellent fit and finish I've come to love from AGR.

And what a guy, to play the hero! My 2009 BFC barlow is one of the most-carried and most-used of all the pocket knives I have or have had.

Today, I've got this one again, thanks to our member Chief and his generous give-away! I've never thought to try out a moose (or other double-ended pattern), or any of the GEC acrylics, but this one is teaching me that I really enjoy both! Thanks again, John! I'm lovin' this one!

I will be carrying this single blade clip boy's knife in cocobolo. I don't know if Mike hand picked these or not, but the cocobolo on the ones I got is phenomenal. Although I didn't take a photo of both covers, they are book matched beautifully. I have nothing but praises for these knives. This one will be with me today and maybe on through Wednesday or maybe I'll carry the spear point version then.

Great looking knife, Ed. I can't wait for the Antique Amber jig bone versions.

Meanwhile, I thought I'd give my old A6235 1/2 a little attention today:

I haven't been around much of late so I'm sure there's much I've missed...but I'm carrying this today in honor of Jason and all those who may find themselves in need of smoke and good energy being sent their way.
