What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you, Jack and Owen. Jack, your kind words are very much appreciated.

That Charlow is a beauty.

I whittled with this knife yesterday and it stayed in my pockete today.

I haven't been around much of late so I'm sure there's much I've missed...but I'm carrying this today in honor of Jason and all those who may find themselves in need of smoke and good energy being sent their way.

I had wondered where you were Elliot, glad your back!!! Beautiful Knife as well.

A little restoration project, a CASE 1976 #6292---not to intense, polished up the bolsters and a little re profile to the main Clip. I could spend my retirement (If I make it to retirement) just tinkering with old knives :)

I picked up this Craftsman Barlow a little while back at a local antique/collectable show and it has quickly become my daily carry. Good size, the blade sharpens up nicely and hold an edge well, and carries well... I am quite pleased overall!

Golly Dog, the beautiful knives (and pictures thereof) just keep coming....

I'm beginning to regret helping you learn to post pictures. (*Swoon.*)

I always love seeing that one, Ed; the knife is fine, and you did a great job of catching the blue-- especially the translucency near the bolsters. (Your new cocobolo Boys Knife ain't no slouch, either.)

If I ever had to come up with just one picture for "pocket knife," that would do. Great knife, Jason.

Observation day today

Always good to see you, Elliott; your voice is distinctive, and welcome.

Nicely done! ... You put that ebony TC Barlow down, yet?! ;)

In addition to my own now-default amber barlow, I have this along today as well:

Probably my favorite blade combination in a #25, wharncliffe main with clip secondary.

Not unlike your stomping ground:)

Sadly, I get there rarely these days as I'm a little further north now, but it reminded me of a remote part of the Dark Peak (close to Margery Hill looking towards Bleaklow) :)

phacochere, that is a spectacular looking knife!

It certainly is

That is an absolute beauty P :)

pertinux - Ha, ha. I was actually killing several birds with one stone; assessing area for fire risk and a potential controlled burn, assessing the condition of a raised bog and looking at the areas recovering from damage by illegal off-roading.

Jack, very similar to the Peaks in places, we've been adopting their MICCI project with local schools. The bog I mentioned had a depth of 8m! Only beaten by the Cairngorms:)

Lovely knives posted today BTW;)
