  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I have been carrying this for the last few days.

This evening I've got a Camillus 3 7/8" trapper with 1095 carbon steel blades. This knife fits my hand perfectly. What can I say? I grew up with delrin scaled knives. I like them.

A good show of delrin...

I have some Jigged Black Cherry from Queen, which is also a good example of delrin, but not as nice as this.

Today it's a CASE Swayback in Bermuda Green Pocket Worn. It's the 'unfashionable' stainless, but I like it. The finish IS very impressive:half-stop and both blades flush in all 3 positions, not many factory knives can boast this.

An old Frost Cutlery One Armed Razor with Pakka Wood Scales, I bought this knife with a similar Splitback Whittler back in the early '80s at the Allentown Fair in NEPA.

It was then and still is a very well made knife, I guess the QC was a lot stricter back then.

Gotta love the hawkbill.:)

Nice looking knife! I can see evidence that she has a great looking freehand bevel on her! Bet shes' a fantastic slicer.

GEC #73 scout in green-tea bone and a Case slimline, barehead trapper in yellow CV today. I can't get enough of the GEC #73s.

Case trapper CV, amber bone. Freshly honed, wicked sharp!

My new CV Case Canoe gave me a little love bite:eek: yesterday after getting the edge the way I like. I'm going to have to watch this one! Nothing a band aide and time want fix.

Interesting combination of blades. Hawkbill is very cool.

Got to love the Hawkbill ! :)

Me and my girl just moved into a house and stuff is scattered willny nilly but I managed to find one of my favorite slipjoints , an old beloved Camillus - it's always reminded me of the Sodbuster I got from from my Grandpa ( but long lost and, of course on a smaller scale :) )
It rides very innocently in the pocket and is pretty friendly looking to boot !

Sorry for the horrid pic from my Berry.

Took the day off work today.:)
The olivewood Opinel #8 will come handy later when the snacks come out to join the beer.

I've been touching up the edges on two old Schrades, one very worn Camill and one Kutmaster (all stockmans)

But in my pocket is a LATE model Schrade Stockaman (with the SS China blades QUITE sharp!)

My wife gave me this Cold Steel large stockman with Carbon V blades for an anniversary present today (26th). (I won an auction last April and set it aside for her to give to me later on. It's later.) It's been in my pocket today (took a vacation day, so my small knives stayed on the dresser.)

Recently got this Queen Cozy Glen amber worm grove Canoe (I've been on this ridiculous Canoe kick lately:eek:). Decided to let this one patina; so far its got a mango, apple, and guava patina evolving on her:D
