What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice canoes guys. I have been carrying this one for a couple of days.

Boy all those Case Canoes really look nice! I don't have any Case ones but after looking at these, I think I'll have to field test one of them.:D

Carrying this old friend today.

I've been carrying my new Queen Canoe for a few days. Great knife. Beautiful, perfectly matched scales. Just took a while to get the massively obtuse blades to a level I'm more comfortable with (30 degrees inclusive). Wide bevel, but it sure cuts well.

Tonight I was cleaning up the "back 40". I took the Cattle King. Used it to cut some odds and ends. I'd post a pic, but none of my pics show off the amber bone as well as Captain Carl's do. Nice job on that, Carl.

CASE Large Stockman in Amber Bone. Well, I'm not actually carrying it today as it came through the letter box this morning at 7.50, it's in a nice 'bath' of Orange skins, getting a 'tan' on that CV first. It's a big 'un alright!

I LOVE wide bevels. To me they indicate a properly thinned primary bevel that will cut cardboard (something I cut down a lot for recycling) or anything else with a quiet whisper. Thanks for sharing those pics.

Capt. Carl, you just sold me on my next knife. That is gorgeous, and looks like it fills the hand well. I am a new convert to traditionals and slippies, and I am really enjoying them. My current edc is a Kershaw Black Colt II, which looks like a Buck 110 with thick black rubber slabs, and a small Winchester with clip and pen blades in stainless and red stained wood slabs. I can hardly wait to get my hands on a nice Case Peanut yeller handle with CV, but it may have to wait for that Queen Canoe. Ahhhh! Too many beautiful knives!

Hi Guys. I do not have it yet. I had one like it before and kind of missed it. This is a picture from the sellers site. I will get a better picture just before I stick it in my pocket.
I have been getting into traditional folders lately. Glad I found you folks :D

Howdy :D

It is a Hen & Rooster Bertram Cutlery Model DS182 two blade. Best guess (so far) over twenty years old.
I had a three blade Gunboat by the same maker with same bolster/stag design.
It is four inches closed. I will give it a closer look for more info when it gets here.

Thank you for the welcome.

Tomorrow, I'll be carryin' a, (very well made Pakastani) Electricians knife with a Lockback screwdriver with 2 wire strippers, a beefy Spearpoint Blade and the best feature is a level for leveling conduit and Power Distribution Boxes/Breaker Boxes.

I'd like to see what an american maker could do with this pattern, this one is rock solid.
