Agreed...they had masterful craftsmen back then. They knew how to do jigging with a masters touch.I don’t know what it is about pocketezes but every one of them looks great.
Be well.

Thanks, yes it was. In my opinion, it had particular ugly stag with no redeeming features at all. So I sanded it a little and then jigged it. The other side turned out better because there was more material to work with, but the color isn’t as interesting.Thank you, Todd. Was that a 68 you were carrying yesterday? Very sweet.
Sweet nice Bart and a very cool project.I carried my stag 25 yesterday and finally made it back to the beads I had started a week or two ago.

A "staggering"piece of cutlery Will. What a beautifully designed knife.Stag lockback, very compact 3 3/8" but nice thick slabs for grip.

I use a medium size Harvest Right. I sometimes wish it was a large so I could process more at a time. There may be a couple new companies producing these now, but Harvest Right was the only name in the personal freeze dryer game for a while. What type, specific brand and model, do you recommend. Will peaches work well?

Those photos are a case of gorgeous Mr.P.Back to a shine on my 1970 Case SAB Hunter .............. I decided to take the patina off. A 1971 stag stockman will ride in the watch pocket.
