What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Did you listen to the Mamas and the Papas, Bob?
All the air is brown
And the sky is haze.
Can't go for a walk
On these smoke-filled days.

Thanks for the kind words, Bob, and for making room for my furniture.

Everyone was gracious enough to make room for my rocker not too long ago; so I will just push mine over a bit Gary.😃

😅😅 now I will have that song in my head playing all weekend!!
Long live Mama Cass.

Thanks for the interesting tree ID, Mike; I knew I'd get in trouble trying to identify a tree just based on bark. :rolleyes:
Drama-free living is a worthy goal, IMHO! :thumbsup::thumbsup:🤓

Glad you're still getting some enjoyment from Bunny #496, Mike. I did a search to see what I told you about the wonders of 496 and found a post from 2016 (not addressed to you) in which I wondered if I could go an entire month in which I carried the same number of knives as the day of the month, with all different knives the entire time. I discovered that 1+2+3+...+30+31 = 31x32/2 =496. I thought you should know! :cool::cool:😁

Looking forward to your reactions to your new knives after you've had a chance to use them for a while. :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Glad to hear you think your health is improving, Jeff. :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
Good point about the desirability of getting your legs up if you're spending a lot of time in bed!

That 88 is certainly an Ace, Pete! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Propitious pair, commendable couple, tremendous twosome, Steve! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

I'll bet you smile in pictures when you're carrying that wondrous WCLF, Jeremy! 🤓:thumbsup::cool:

Ravishing reds, Major! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I envy you, JJ! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
All I did was scouted 2 old pockets. 😁

Sorry for your loss.
Heavenly handles on your carving knives! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, Todd. :)
I didn't have the courage to try a knife-ON-post shot with water right there, but the knife-AGAINST-post shot wasn't too risky even for a coward like me! 🤓

Kind of cool - two different knives for the price of one! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
Are there any "saw marks" at all on the pile side?

Cherish the Churchill! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Thanks, Jack. :)

Yes, but they are as pronounced as the mark side. Here’s a photo with better light.

Ah! I'm easily confused these days JJ! :D :thumbsup:
I can certainly relate to that! ;) :thumbsup:
Stunning pair of vintage Scouts my friend :) :thumbsup:
Thank you most kindly, Jack!!! :) :thumbsup:
Have a great day everyone :) Lovely weather here, and I'm carrying a Sheffield Lamb, re-covered in African Blackwood by @jsdisin, and an Old Friend :) :thumbsup:

Two wood covered marvels that remind me of the old Revolutionary War signal, one if by land and two if by sea :) :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
