It’s a pretty nice cup. For $10 more I coulda had a 124, but I’ll get a lot more use out of the cup. I’ll be happy to talk your ear off about the fixed blade, but I’m gonna need the details on yours, too. Beautiful bone on the Schatt.You did well, I dig the cup. Is the bottom unglazed so you can sharpen on it in a pinch or idle moment? Could you pretty please tell me more about that lovely tiny fixed blade?

This is the String Bean from Deep Cuts Cutlery. I’ve been a big fan of Kyle’s work for a couple three years. He runs them hard and grinds them thin. This one is on the more extreme side.

K390 at 66 HRC, definitely sub .010” behind the edge. Kyle uses mostly micarta and some terotuf, I go for this butterscotch paper micarta every chance I get. Darkens with a lovely patina. Copper flared tubes on this one.

I kick myself for not scooping up one a those elderberry jigged 92s. Great pair.
