• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You did well, I dig the cup. Is the bottom unglazed so you can sharpen on it in a pinch or idle moment? Could you pretty please tell me more about that lovely tiny fixed blade?

It’s a pretty nice cup. For $10 more I coulda had a 124, but I’ll get a lot more use out of the cup. I’ll be happy to talk your ear off about the fixed blade, but I’m gonna need the details on yours, too. Beautiful bone on the Schatt. 👌

This is the String Bean from Deep Cuts Cutlery. I’ve been a big fan of Kyle’s work for a couple three years. He runs them hard and grinds them thin. This one is on the more extreme side. IMG_7873.jpeg
K390 at 66 HRC, definitely sub .010” behind the edge. Kyle uses mostly micarta and some terotuf, I go for this butterscotch paper micarta every chance I get. Darkens with a lovely patina. Copper flared tubes on this one.IMG_7872.jpeg
Eureka Jack again, plus the Viper.

I kick myself for not scooping up one a those elderberry jigged 92s. Great pair.
