You're certainly toting a couple of black beauties today; the Waynorth looks like quite the awesome Harness Jack!;):thumbsup:

Great pics Jeff !
Well, thanks, buddy!
These put out a sweet sound Gordon. I use Dan Clark Ethers with mine. Made in New York.
Tubes give such a luscious sound.View attachment 2284600
Yes, vacuum tubes are sweet and luscious. Especially in guitar amps.
If you like NOS tubes, as I do, you may find this interesting.
I was leaning that direction.

Knife purchases have gotten in the way. 🤣

I need to fix that...

Us tube amp playing guitarists get a lot of competition from the audiophile ranks for New Old Stock tubes. I recently found a guy selling a small stash of NOS Sylvania 12AX7s labeled for Baldwin Organs. I tried some in my Mesa, and immediately ordered more. It’s a good thing I already have a couple of knives…

I'm likely mostly done acquiring sharps ( 🤣 ), so time to save for a bit and get feed the audio hobby a little.

It's strange Jeff. I have struggled to like some old mullards ( circa 1940's) after one fried a tube socket. I do have Sylvania, jan military, etc that I enjoy. My go to are matched golden dragons.( genalex).

Thank you for the article.

Thank you kindly, Bob!!! :)

That's an extraordinary couple of totes; love the unique bolsters on your beefy drop point, as well!:):thumbsup:
Thank you JJ...it's giraffe bone.
Everything goes better with good old tubes. :)
Both my systems are all tubed, even my cd player.( phono preamp excluded. My favorite piece is a sweet little Rogue Cronus Magnum.

Yes! You missed a lot of good knives, and some of my TLDR rambling. 😗
You’re really blessed to be able to get Mom down there and spend time together🥰

I dig the well loved German knife.
Sorry I missed some of your good rambling. Mom and I had a wonderful visit. I feel very blessed and lucky.

Doubling up on the well worn German knives:
