It's basically a Buck 303 clone. Here's a comparison shot of Buck 373, Buck 303, Ganzo (left to right):

5K Qs 5K Qs that Ganzo stockman is a new one for me. I thought they made Benchmade/Spyderco/Ontario RAT hybrids. Do they have other slipjoints, or was that an earlier venture?

Nice color on your 373, by the way.

Used the magnifying glass to read the partially obscured tang stamp on this recently purchased Moore Maker. The Scientist should be resurrected by Victorinox. Some day, in the not-too-distant future, I fear the magnifying glass may become my most used tool 🤓🥴
I think I may try to clean up the corrosion a little on the MM. Oiled and cleaned it has the typical Canal Street smooth action and solid lock up. A couple of passes on a ceramic, and then some mild stropping, and it's collecting hair off my arm

Got outta bed this morning, made my coffee, sat at my desk, and BAM !!!! My nose started bleeding.. Don't recall being assaulted during the night. Oh well, here I sit with a piece of paper towel between my upper gum and lip. It's happened a couple/three/four times since they took my jaw and rebuilt it with part of one of my leg bones. Pretty sure it has to do with scar tissue left from my feeding tube and other tubes they ran through that nostril. Happy days !!!! Whatta hoot that was. This calls for a red Bull Nose for our trip to town and the Brass Rail Restaurant. The Wagon Wheel Cafe is closed on Wednesdays.

The Ganzo was a gift, so I don't know much about it. I went to a Ganzo website this morning and didn't see any traditional patterns among their current offerings. But if you google "Ganzo stockman", you'll find some knives that look like the one I posted. On the other hand, I googled "Ganzo trapper", "Ganzo canoe", and "Ganzo whittler" and found no examples of those patterns.

Thanks for the compliment on the Buck 373. When I first got re-interested in traditional knives back in 2014, I decided to go to Walmart to look at knives. That's when I started to discover how rare traditional patterns are in brick-and-mortar stores. All I found at Walmart that day was a clamshell card hanging there containing a Buck Trio (the 373) and a Buck Solo (don't remember the number of that little single-bladed Buck - maybe 379?) in amber jigged bone.

I have another 373 that wasn't posted in my comparison photo I posted this morning. It was the last knife my father-in-law carried before he passed away. Wish I could sharpen as well as he could!

Nice find. Beautiful scales.
I can relate to needing a little magnification help sometimes. 🫤

You never know what can happen when you’re asleep, Ed. Awhile ago, I was having a wild dream, and lashed out with a solid right hook. No blood, but Mrs. Fleschwund was a bit surprised.
