I think the pocket knife/fixed blade pairing is one of the all time great duos; you have certainly brought it to new heights with your beauties today, Jack!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

1970s (ish) Boker sheepsfoot Barlow. It was a rustball and I figured it would either clean up well or I could tear it apart and play around with it. Blades were pretty full and nothing looked too bad.

A little steel wool, some brass brushes and a lot of oil later and it looks pretty good. Great action too. Underbladed with half stops but spring is flush with the liner in all positions. Well made. I'll throw it in the rotation!

Oddly top heavy because of those giant steel bolsters, though!

Nice! Those Buck 37x series are underrated. I have a couple 371's that come along for family adventures when I'm hanging out with my in-laws. They sharpen well, and have pretty decent fit/finish. And they're dead cheap at my local World o' Wally. I've never seen a 373 in the store, though. It's a great size! The 303 is definitely my favorite knife.
I have quite a few Chinese Bucks and I like them just fine. In addition to the pair of 373s, I have a 371, at least four 389s (canoes), a 385 (tiny toothpick), and a 388 (large toothpick) (the last 2 came in a Buck Christmas tin one year that I bought NOS a year or two later). I think they all use 420J2 stainless, which I've read is low quality steel, but I must not use my knives for very challenging tasks, because I really have no complaints about the blades.
