I think Stan Buzek does a heckuva job, so it's nice to hear that feedback, Jeff. Good eye on the 10-pointer -- he is just beginning to shed. That evening, he was out with his buddy, who had already shed his velvet completely...Your knife is a 10, which goes along with the ten point buck. It looks like his velvet is beginning to shed.
Beauty of a SW! I was going to ask what model it is, buy you’ve answered thatSometimes you have to go big to get the job done, but in the case of a pocket knife it is not so.

Nice that you say so, mi amigoGreat pics of your garden !
I wish I’d bought the Wards Cattle I followed on the ‘bay a few years ago, the bone was gorgeous. Probably why the bidding went crazy.
Thanks, Franklin!Love the garden photos and that peanut is gorgeous!
If I aint wrong, you snagged the Sears Spey at the knife show. Right?
Sure appreciate that, sir. As a rule, I don’t save tomato seeds for replanting, because I don’t segregate the plants, and bag the flowers. Bees go from one to the next, mixing up the dna.Jeff, I love the garden updates. I'm jealous of your variety of tomatoes. Do you save and grow from your own seeds or order? I'd be interested in trying to find some of those varieties. Great stuff!
Dig both the knife and the great hat!Toted an old friend today. My old 301 that I inherited early 80’s.

Peach Mango hot, or mild?Amir Fleschwund Not sure what I love more here, that unicorn punch or your 'maters. Good problems! Peach Mango for me, please? Since we're fessing up, I once had a dream (as a grown man) about using a urinal
So remind Mrs. Fleshwund to count her blessings maybe?
Pseudo Friday Favorites. Put a good coat of Danish oil on the Osage handle of the Erickson, really deepens the color and pops chatoyance.

Okay, apologies in advance. Not trying to divert from the Totin theme, but i have some photos of the garden…
At least you know my knives are not safe queens.
First thing this morning, I took out the big jack, and chopped down the basil which was thriving in the sandy gravel by the front walk. Vik the Designer complained that talk stuff should be in back. It was time anyway, they would have begun to bolt soon. Hung up to dry…

So despite us eating tomatoes every day, they are now ripening en masse, and I cannot keep up. Some, like bushels full of cherry maters are getting shared.View attachment 2305714
It’s time to cook up and can a big batch of salsa.

Can you tell me about this knife please? I presume a Northwoods but beyond that I’m clueless.I had this down on the bench for a number of months, waiting to give it a spa day. Been out of circulation way too long, so I put it back together last night, and in the pocket today!

Jeremy, when the TSA starts confiscating pocket knives out of checked luggage is when I stop flying. Hopefully that will never happen but then again I never thought I’d have to take off my shoes either.Fantastic lamb, David!
Thanks Jeff, hopefully the principal will be forgiving…
The Albers lamb and an Indian Paintbrush (state flower of Wyoming, where I visited) bone 38 special were with me…thanks TSA for not taking them out of my checked luggage.
