Recently sent my 86 Angus away for a blade delete and the pen blade made into a shop knife! Slipjoint_spa did an amazing job on both and hasn’t left my pocket since!

I really like the big pen blades on the Camillus 23s. They get used a lot. Glad you’re happy with your mod.

Thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail here this morning and early afternoon, so stainless it is! Mostly pea sized hail but also dime and nickel sized as well! Last time it hailed this bad I got a new roof, so we shall see.

The garden did yield a few goodies! The little green fellas are cucamelons.

Never heard of cucamelons. Are they an accidental cross, or intentional? I get a lot of weird squash mutations around my compost piles that Vik uses for Halloween decorations.

Very true my friend. Let’s be real…my weekday knife selections are expensive fidget toys. As long as they can peel apples and open letters and boxes, I’m good!

On the weekend, I have a crew of workers that I can beat up and get messy. Had these two with me today.

Old Westinghouse paper (no lines) ivory micarta. In time the covers will patina back to the darker color of the sheet it's resting on. Might take a few years as it wears like iron. Enjoy the weekend!

Suppose to get rain later this afternoon and evening. Not much to do around the hose but of course a stray chore pops up now and again no matter how ready you are. I haven't carried this Texas Jack in some time so will give it a go in my front pocket today. Might add an evil modern knife to another pocket to back it up. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.
